Moonlight Slumber Luxury Dreamer Crib Mattress

This mattress appealed to me originally because it is two-sided and would accommodate my daughter as an infant and toddler. I also read some great reviews which was re-assuring. The first night she slept on the mattress, she woke up with a swollen eye, cheek, and lip on the side of her face that she was sleeping on. The sheets and cover were all washed but I thought maybe it was a reaction to one of those 2 items. I changed out the sheets to a different brand and the second night, she still woke up with a swollen face. I checked with my Pediatrician and she noted that the oil infusion in the infant side of the mattress can cause allergic reactions for a lot of babies due to their sensitive skin. My baby does have very sensitive skin and surely after having her sleep on a different mattress, she no longer wakes up with swelling in her face. Just a heads up for other parents with babies who have very sensitive skin.

This mattress is horrible. It sheds/loses foam like crazy. Every single time I change the sheets foam flies everywhere. All over me, all over the crib, all over the floor. It’s a huge huge mess. Stay far away from this disaster.

We really liked it and our baby sleeps very good in it, I like the protection that comes with it because accidents happen a lot with a newborn,

Fits well, appropriate firmness and like ability for child to grow into and switch to softer side

Used the firm side for our newborn, no problems encountered. It fits our crib well and looking forward to using the soft side of the mattress

My son loves his new comfy mattress. He sleeps like a rock and now I get some extra shuteye as well!

my baby always enjoy and is calm when he lies on this crib mattress. It’s recommended for any standard crib.
