I am a big advocate of safe sleep and that means baby needs to be placed on his/her back on a firm mattress with a tight fitted sheet. This mattress meets my strict requirements. The infant side is firm and fits snugly into my crib which is important to me. Also, a regular fitted sheet also fits well on this mattress with no wrinkles. Thumbs up for safety.

I was very excited about this mattress at first from all the reviews and initially taking it out of the box with how light it was and easy to apply sheets and covers by myself. However, this mattress does not seem to be able to even withstand a tight mattress sheet and waterproof cover as the fit on the corners has shrunk in to semi collapse the corners on the sides of the crib. Meaning the once perfectly fitted snug mattress now has gaps my hand can fit through on each side. This foam should be able to withstand the pull from a sheet and waterproof pad together without this happening. Hopefully BBB returns this as my baby is not even born yet. I have a Kendall crib from Pottery Barn for reference.

Have been using this since late 2019 for our oldest daughter. There are two sides and the fabric covering it has been so easy to clean. Didn't realize how great it was until I received a hand-me-down fabric Babyletto Pure mattress which isn't waterproof! Plus, this mattress is so comfy compared to the firm Babyletto one. We are now planning to buy a second one of the Moonlight mattresses for our second child. Would recommend this quality mattress!

It’s hard for me as an adult, the toddler side is just as hard maybe slightly less dense. But on the positive side my baby doesn’t sink in the mattress if he’s on his belly and it goes great with the crib I have leaving no gaps.

Stiff or what we call "high density foam" is exactly what your infant needs to keep them safe! But we agree with you in regards to how an Adult might feel about that firmness, a little too firm for us adults.

This crib mattress is a winner. It's lightweight yet sturdy, and fits well in my Evolur crib. My son is 16 months old and has always seemed very comfortable sleeping on the mattress (he's now on the softer toddler side).

The product arrived before the expected delivery date and it was what I expected. One side is firmer and the other has more cushion—I will be able to use it for different stages of growth
