Medela® Quick Clean™ Breastmilk Removal Soap

This works so much better than other brands I have tried for pump parts and bottles! No residue left behind!

I just got 3 more bottles of these after going through 1 bottle in the first 2 months of having a baby. The soap is great for reducing time needed to wash bottle and pump parts. I don't use the dishwasher to wash parts because I feel like they don't clean things enough (blame my Asian parents who view the dishwasher as a dish drying rack). I rinse used bottles and parts with water and then chuck them in a small basin full of water and 1-2 squirts of this soap. Throughout the day, I collect the dirty parts into that basin until it's full and I wash them all in one go. I then stick them in my Wabi UV sterilizer for drying and sterilizing. With this process, coupled with using pump parts twice by sticking them in the fridge, I only have to wash things twice a day. No need to scrub. I rarely use bottle brushes actually. The soap is great at removing milk residue. I even use it to wash clothes that have milk all over them from a baby-exorcist spit-up spree. I use about 4 squirts in a full load of laundry to "boost" the cleaning power of my laundry detergent. So far, all the fabrics are left clean and unstained. This soap is worth the price!

I followed the instructions exactly but my pump parts still had residue on them that could be scraped off by a fingernail. I can’t reach into every crevice so I’m sure the parts still have residue inside. I end up buying new parts frequently for this reason.

Seriously this soap effortlessly cleans. Bottle nipples look brand new after ever wash. I stock up on this stuff!

This soap is amazing! Everything is always so clean and the best part is that no scrubbing is required!

I am a mother of three and a working mom. Breastfeeding baby number 3 has been difficult for the sheer amount of time it adds to my day. This soap helps cut a little bit of time. I used this soap daily after pumping during my workday to clean pump parts and bottle pieces. It was easy to throw everything into a soak with the soap. Rinsing required less elbow grease than is usually required because the soap more easily got off the breastmilk. This soap saves time and energy and easily removed breast milk residue. I am curious to see how it works for clothing, particularly my nursing bras. I have not gotten to try it yet. I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like most moms I don’t have a lot of extra time to scrub pump parts, which is why the Quick-Clean Soap is a life saver for me. I just fill the sink with hot water, squirt in a few pumps of the soap and let the pump parts and nursing pads soak. Then I come back whenever I have time and just rinse everything off and let dry. It really doesn’t get any simpler than that. The pump parts and nursing pads dry without and left over milk residue on them. I was very excited to get to try the Quick-Clean Soap as part of the Stellar Panel.

A few pumps needed for a load of bottles and a lot of hot water removed all the milk from my pump parts and baby bottles in no time. It was so great to be able to soak and leave the parts, and just return later for a rinse.
