Really liked this car seat. Felt like my baby was snug and well-protected. It's one of the lightest seats on the market, which really makes a difference as the baby grows. I also like hat I can toss the fabric in the wash and it's easy to put back on.

While my son was very comfortable in this seat as a newborn, he is crammed in as a 18lb 8 month old. There is so much padding that the car seat becomes very narrow. It says the car seat fits up to 29lbs but we won't be able to use it that long. The pull cord to tighten the seat belt harness gives resistance and won't completely pull unless you are a a certain angle. This makes it difficult to tighten the belts if the car seat is already snapped into the base. Also the canopy is cheap and doesn't open sufficiently to keep the sun out of his eyes. It clicks when you open it which is no good with a sleeping baby. I constantly have to use my hand to bend the canopy further to create shade. The seat looks great but I wouldn't buy it again if I had another chance.

This car seat is the envy of all my friends that have graco or Chico car seats. It's SO soft and cushions baby very well. M daughter LOVES this car seat. It's very easy to clean. The canopy is plenty big and although it does make a clicking sound, It's still working great after 5 months of daily use. It is more flimsy than other canopies but it doesn't bother me at All. I would recommend this seat in a heartbeat.

Don't buy this product unless you are not planing using the canopy but trust me no matter where you live you will find the canopy very useful (protecting from the sun, rain, wind, cold etc.) The design of this canpy is so poor not only it looks floppy the plastick sticks that support the entire structure started ripping through the fabric only after couple months of use. After few months of use the plastic latch that holds the canopy started breaking off from opening and closing the canopy so I wrote to maxi cosi and they said that they will have to send me a replacement because that particular part is not replaceable although it is because it is screwed on to the car seat you think its awesome that you will get a new car seat but you don't even know what they had me do before they would mail me the new car seat. They have you cut up the fabric and the belts and scrape all the stickers from the car seat which was impossible to peel off without ripping it in several places and only after you mail them all the pieces they asked for. that is when they will mail you the new car seat.
