Maxi-Cosi® Home CASSIA™ Baby Musical Swing in Graphite

I love this swing so much but for some reason it only plays songs and not the nature sounds that are advertised. I'm not sure if I got a faulty one or what but I reached out to customer service and they were not helpful. My daughter prefers sounds over music & the swing was expensive so this was upsetting.

Pros: really nice look. Moves well and is super quiet. Easy to clean. The basic mobile is surprisingly a big hit with my babies (twins). Cons: music choices not the best but we hardly use that feature. Positioning of baby in the swing is strange and awkward. I do have larger babies but their feet started hitting the hard metal rim early on and I felt like they couldn't sit in it comfortably without hitting it. I stick a blanket underneath the gray pad to lift their legs up. It also didn't support them well when they were newborns. They weren't cradled enough and again, I had to stick a blanket around the cushion. Also the 5 point harness is in the way constantly. I have never used the upper body part of it and the whole thing was a pain when they were newborns and didn't need the harness at all. My boys have almost outgrown the swing at 4 months (which is early and annoying as well, note the 20lb weight limit). So it's a nice product but not sure I'd buy it again, I'd probably look for something better.

The swing barely swings at all. It has 5 speeds and I honestly can’t tell if it’s getting faster or slower with each different speed. The mamaroo and graco swings are much better. I regret wasting the money on this. I should’ve watched videos before buying it. Quality wise the swing is very nice, but that doesn’t help with my fussing baby.

I bought two of these for the aesthetic and crossed my fingers our babies would like the motion and it has been a success!! The music function is soothing and the gentle circular motion has calmed them down. Love that the chair easily tips up and down for two different elevations. The more upright is great for our reflux babies after they eat. The grey pad is extremely soft and easy to remove to wash. Only complaint is the felt toys on the top don’t spin or move but overall I was so happy to have such a bulky item be something that can look so nice in our space, while still soothing our little ones.

I love this little musical swing. It matches my decor perfectly and doesn’t look like the eye sore. More importantly, my baby loves it from the firs time I put her there. She loves the classical music as well. Most baby items have really obnoxious sounds. I’m glad it’s not this one. The rocker has working timer and the seat can recline to different positions. My baby prefers sitting in it and relaxing by the fireplace, so I haven’t been using all the extra options much. One thing to consider for improvement: there is metal wood-looking frame that frames the seat, when my baby bounces her legs she hints it pretty hard. She never hurt herself or made herself cry, but I can’t imagine it being pleasant. Maybe a longer inner cushion could help with the issue. Other than that, I’m really happy with the item and would definitely recommend it.

I absolutely love this swing. Have been using it since baby was 2 weeks old, and I'm super impressed. I love the multi-tilt option which makes it easy for a brand new baby to enjoy at a very minimal incline, so their neck is still supported well. The swing also allow provides a soothing music option and a range of speed for swinging. It is light weight for ease when moving from room to room, and also can be run by battery or via electrical outlet. It is aesthetically pleasing and comfortable and I look forward to seeing how much baby enjoys as they get older.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received this swing I got rid of my 4moms momaroo because my baby did not have a preference between the two and I think the cassia swing is much better looking! Everyone that has been over to our house asks about it. We really have enjoyed the swing and like that there are different speeds and lullabies. The one this I dislike is the adjustable straps used to strap baby in. They are extremely difficult to adjust.
