not working at all even after reading instructions

Got this adorable owl for our 9 year old who was having some nightmares & wanted a nightlight instead of keeping the lights on (low). All the animals looked cute online but I felt the owl was not too babyish for an older child & she loves it! She likes the remote and color options and it has been lasting through the night if charged. When I was testing it, instructions are very limited so I reached out directly to Lumipets with some questions & I’ll share the answers (they responded kindly & quickly!) 1) why can I not use the remote to turn it on (i noticed it will turn back on with the remote immediately after turning off, but not if you wait a while) ... they said having the option to turn on w the remote was draining the battery 3x faster so they made it so you must turn on from button on base but can use remote to turn off/change settings. This is not a real big deal, she just manually walks over & turns on before bed but kind of a pain if you decide you want it on in middle of night and have to get up if you don’t keep it arms length bc too much light by your face 2) How long for a full charge? Out of the box it went 2 whole nights but then after charging went only half... Lumipets said 8-10 hours & port will turn green when charged. We likely didn’t charge long enough the first time. We use the USB with an Apple wall outlet adapter. Hope that helps, I thought ours was defective so glad I got answers. We’ve had a few weeks and so far so good. Durable cute & practical for anyone- kids & adults too! (Might want to take it outside on the summer nights when we hang in the yard!)

The owl shape is super cute and the variety of color options and brightness levels is super helpful. We use it to illuminate the room just enough for middle-of-the-night feeds (our preference is the dark blue setting at the lowest brightness level). We enjoyed the nightlight so much that we've gifted the other animal shapes to our expectant friends!

This owl light is darling in person and comes with a remote and you can change colors on it. Very fun gift idea for anyone really. Item is very good quality and shipping was quick. I would buy this item again they also have other animals.

My kid has been asking for a bright light , so that he can use the restroom by himself. I got this for him and he is super happy and he says that it guards him all night and it's his best friend.

It comes with a working remote to change color and brightness. My favorite are the purple and blue colors. It's cute and the body is soft and squishy. My 2 year old adores it as she likes to look at until she falls asleep.

My daughter loves her night light. I love the 15, 30, or 60 min timer off option. Several color options and dimming options too. Cute and great for the price!
