I've used a variety of products: medela bottles, hospital bottles, medela bags, and these. Of the four items listed above, these are my favorite and here's why: they hold more milk (6 oz), they are longer which allows them to freeze flat, they do not have a hole at the top for milk to spill through, they have a double ziplock to prevent leaking, I don't have to wash them, and they don't take up a bunch of room in the cabinets and freezer (like the bottles do). These are my new go to items for storing milk.
I purchased a few boxes of 50 count and filled them all. Now a few months later I go to start defrosting some of the bags only to discover they have burst. I had done everything correctly as far as proper storage procedure. They were only filled up to 5oz, not the max of 6oz, and they were stored flat. I even used the boxes that said "New and Improved". I called the company to complain and the woman said there were several "Bad Batches" that were sent out. I asked of the company was going to recall the product and she said, "no". It is so heartbreaking to pour all of that milk down the drain. As an exclusive pumper I would wake in the middle of the night to pump and store while my little girl slept. What a waste of time and energy. Every other bag seems to have been punctured and the milk compromised. Do yourself a favor and pay more for better bags. It will cost more but save you the heartache.

We used these for all the pumping my wife did at home. Used a couple hundred bags… many filled to the max 6 ounce marks using a measuring cup. Upon thawing, approximately 10% of the bags (from different boxes) had leaks in the bottom corners. Disappointed we ended up tossing at least 100 ounces of milk because of it. Unless the leak issue is fixed, would not recommend

I buy these like every month the price is good can’t complain. The only thing i noticed that some of my frozen milk bags were leaking??! So they aren’t durable. I love how they lay flat. I freeze so much milk!

I didn’t like this bags much but I was stuck to it as I bought 100 bags pack , some of them weren’t pre cut , some while defrosting leaked my milk . I didn’t have good experience

When opening the bags for the first time, the perforations appear to be defective, causing the whole top of the bag (where you are supposed to be able to write) to be ripped off. I used these bags with my first child and had no issue, but now the bags seem to have a defect. It has occurred numerous times. Is this a batch issue or is this how the bags are indefinitely?

If you use these to freeze milk, throw them out and buy new ones now! They leak when thawing and you will loose milk!

I wasn’t going to address this, but other moms need to know. Do not use these storage bags! Save your money and your milk! I followed proper storage instructions, but have lost over 100 ounces in Breastmilk due to them leaking!! I’m so disappointed and upset because supplying milk for my child is hard work.

I’ve had great experiences with these with my first three kids, but over the last several boxes I have used, they will leak everywhere before I even get the chance to freeze the milk inside. Not sure if they were a bad batch of them but definitely frustrating.

We have used the bags to store almost 100 bags. All instructions for freezing and unfreezing have been followed. However, now that we are starting to use the milk, we noticed that all of it has an unpleasant refrigerator smell and our baby refuses to eat them. It looks like we will need to throw it all away :(
