KidKraft® Metropolis Train Table and Set

Our grandson learned how to walk moving around this table playing with his cars & train. Adults comfortably play with him sitting on a rolling mechanics stool. He's 15 months and plays well with supervision, only occasionally knocking over a tower. This set, with all its parts, is better suited for the gentle child.

Got this table for our son, it's great in theory, but bad in real life. The tracks have too much play in them, it moves around on the board too easily and one wrong move and everything is effected, mis aligned, track supports fall over. Trains barely roll on track and magnets do not hold train cars together, so the "trains" don't work like trains especially when trying to pull it around corners or up hills... in my opinion it is too 'delicate of an assembled structure for children.

I bought it too early when my son was 2 years old, now he is 3.5 years old and he loves it! It was not hard to build it and set it up. I upgraded it to a battery power locomotive that pulls other cars. It’s a lot of fun! My son loves it!

Bought this for my grandson . Half the pieces missing and all thr train tracks . Part where wheels screw into drawer totally useless so drawer cannot be used . Received train tracks but now discovered no parts to place tracks over red bridge . No instructions on how to put together. If my grandson hadnt seen it id have sent straight back. Will never purchase this brand again , total headache and complete dissapointment

Our Grandchildren love this and I am looking to purchase an accessory that has been lost. Can you help?

Honestly please do not look at the negative reviews. This train set is incredible. If there are any issues with tracks not staying in place, just grab the SureTrack clips. I haven't put ours in yet as we haven't needed them, but they just arrived and if we need them, we have them. This trainset has provided hours of fun with our kids.

With 3 grandsons under one roof, this has been the perfect shareable item in the house. It allows my grandsons ages 3-6 play together, with enough track space for everyone

First off this was the worst to put together with my very handy husband who builds things! The instructions are useless, just black and white pictures with no labeling. All the pieces should have been labeled and correspond with the instructions. We had to literally figure everything out on our own. Pieces are not flush and in poor quality. I will not return this because we bought for our son's birthday and it was too much trouble to put together but I would say this is way overpriced! We have an old kidkraft train table, about 4 years old and it's in better shape and quality of this one.
