Keekaroo® Height Right High Chair Natural with Infant Insert and Tray

I was worried about reviews saying the infant insert doesn’t work for babies with chubby thighs, but my 8month old bubba is 76%ile and carries it all in his monstrous thighs, and he fits no problem! It was a little challenging to put together, but what baby furniture isn’t. Follow the instructions carefully (don’t tighten the sides before you put the seat and footrest in) and it’s no problem. We haven’t used it without the infant insert yet. But I could see that cushion getting dirty easily, maybe I’ll spray it with some waterproofing spray so it will wipe down easily? I love that this high chair comes in different wood finishes. The espresso matches all my other dining furniture and blends in with my decor. It’s true that it doesn’t have a footrest when the insert is in use, but my kid prefers to stick his legs straight out anyways, so that doesn’t really bother us. Very excited for the longevity of this chair, as our boy grows he’ll always have a chair at the right height for him!

This highchair is very challenging to put together. That comes from my husband who loves to put things like this together and comes easily for him. It's very hard to clean. Food gets under the seat you have to clean and stuck in the holes the safety straps go through. He is a tall baby (90 percentile) and his feet don't touch the foot rest. Hejust never seems comfortable and we'll be getting something else.

We ordered this in natural. Just got around to opening it (baby just now needs high chair), and it’s black. Should have ordered from somewhere else because BBB Customer service is terrible, and I don’t expect they’d do anything.

I did a ton of research on high chairs and thought this one would be great. There are some pros - it is quite sturdy, and the wood is good quality. However, the cons greatly outweigh the pros. Both of my daughters never really sat right in this chair. My oldest daughter's legs never quite reached the foot tray properly, which is a big need for infant feeding. Now my youngest is using it and she has a hard time sitting up straight because her long torso is too high for the tray. Furthermore, the tray does not lock in properly and never has. The padded seat (not the infant seat) needs a ton of washing because food stains it. I wanted to love this chair but it's just too finicky. I wish I had purchased a different chair.

Loved this high chair as it was more affordable than the Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair but pretty similar. Seat is comfy, it was simple to put together and the Wood is great quality as well!

Assembly was challenging (instructions were decent but could be better, and there are no helpful YouTube tutorials yet) but I did eventually complete it by myself. When I had a question, I called customer service and Karen was extremely helpful and friendly. My baby is still a little young (4 months) to use the high chair, but she did sit in it while we ate dinner tonight and she was thrilled to be involved. I am excited for her to grow into it and with it as she ages. As a speech therapist, I wanted something that would support appropriate feeding skills, posture, etc. and I'm glad I found Keekaroo.
