JuJuBe® B.F.F. Diaper Backpack in Pebble

Had this bag for 3 months, not used everyday- just for going out. First the little zipper gets stuck, due to the brackets, and then a couple weeks later the big zipper gets stuck. For the price you pay.. I expected a lot better quality. Quality was like a cheap $50 bag.

So the bag is nice but it is small it looked bigger in the picture not as much room! And the clings from where the straps go are loud!

I have now had this bag about 2 months. After the first month the handle started to rip. I paid way to much for it to start falling apart that fast. Would not recommend unless you have money to just toss about. I contacted Jujubee and never heard back. I'm just very disappointed.

So I bought the BFF (this one) and the DR BFF to compare. Since this is my second baby and we didn't need to buy as much, and my old super-cheap diaper bag was functional but not great and has been destroyed in the 6 years since I had a baby, I decided I could splurge on something really nice this time. My needs: I cloth diaper, so I need slightly different space than most people. I breastfeed, so I don't need bottle pockets. And I live in a small town and am never more than 15 minutes from my house, so I don't need to pack for outings lasting more than 2-3 hours. The good stuff: - I love the color! This is a true teal, which is my favorite color, and the hardware and insides are a very pretty champagne color. - I love the fabric, the canvas style really suits me, and it is washable (which is surprisingly rare for bags supposed to deal with poop and milk all the time). - It has lots of pockets and useful organization features. - the straps and changing mat are nice and seem comfortable. The bad stuff: - It is smaller than the DR BFF, at least in terms of internal space. The DR BFF carries more because of the open top design. - though it has lots of pockets, I don't like the placement of a few of them, and a few are too narrow and deep to be useful to me. The side pockets are also a bit too small for my water bottles. - You have to zip it to carry it, because of the way the front opens, which means if I'm in a hurry, I have to fumble with the zipper. It zips well, but if I were holding a baby trying to do it, it would be a bit fiddly. - lacking the suitcase/trolley flap. OVERALL: If I had bought this 6 years ago with my first baby, I would have been very satisfied, and I wish I had splurged back then. However, after having the DR BFF in hand (even if I wish it was the same color and fabric as this one) I will be keeping the DR. I wish I had a good reason to keep this BFF, but it doesn't fit my laptop, the pockets are not quite my preference, and I cannot justify my 6 yo having a $100+ backpack.

I really wanted to love this bag, but it’s just entirely too small. The color was nice, but the quality didn’t seem to match the price tag. It was good, but not exceptional, which is what I expect when I pay that much for a diaper bag. If you don’t need a lot of space, then you may like it, but for this mom it’s just too small.

A bit small for the price, can't fit all the needs in it, but it's cute tho

Cons: It is not very comfortable to use and the space is not maximized for organiziing all the essentials baby need when out and about. I can never seem to find the items easily, unless you lay the bag on its back (which is impractical and can lead to spills) Pros: The construction is good, and the fabric is durable. I would NOT recommend this item.

Jujube makes beautiful and comfortable diaper bags. It has so many pockets, even for my sunglasses. I love it that you can wear it as bag pack and one shoulder.
