Honest® Urban Convertible Tote Backpack in Black

Fabric isn't a soft leather feel. More like a hard shell. When converted to AA backpack, it's very "front" heavy.

I was interested in the bag every time I saw it online. I ordered it, only to receive the wrong bag. There is clearly a big difference in the bags. Finally received the correct bag but was disappointed in the flap, it doesn't cover the whole top. It's slightly open on both sides. I like the dividers and how it's structured inside. I returned it due to the flap/cover and it was too big for my liking. I would like to say the texture of the bag is really soft.

This tote is cute enough, although mine came with an indentation in the top from the handle being compressed during shipping. There are two major issues: every time you go to grab something from the bag while it’s on your back you have to take off one of the straps, but that causes all the extra slack to go into the other side and the bag to jolt down at a weird angle. Super impractical. Second, after light use over two months, the “leather’ straps are starting to crack.

Very cute, but it was a nonstarter for me when I realized my 13 in MacBook Air wouldn’t fit in the laptop sleeve.

I bought this bag because of its conversion feature for when I'm out and about with my toddler. I currently use it as a workbag and it fits my laptop, papers, lunch, snacks, beauty items, sanitation etc. Internal organziation compartments are perfect. Wish this existed back when I needed a diaper bag because it would also make for a good diaper bag imo. Other reviews said its small but I think its quite roomy and also looks quite big on me (I'm 5.5 ft). I really like this bag - for this price you can't go wrong! Similar bags in the market are sturdier but also 3 to 10 times the price. I deducted 1 star because I wish the strap was wider in the middle so it wouldn't fit through the metal rings to make it easier to use as a backpack - right now this is a bit hard to do and my only complaint. I will try to diy something for this.

Love it although the strap should be improved. I had Fawn Design bag for 8 months and It was super heavy. I thought I had bricks in it. I was searching for sth light. I tought this bag is small insdie but I was wrong! It's SPACIOUS and very LIGHT. I wish I had it since day one instead dragging that huge backpack. The pocks make sense. Stroller straps are great and my stroller doesn't flip when baby not it it. Only thing - carrying the bag as handbag is weird. The straps are on the back of bag so the bag is always tilet and using is as backpack takes some time to get used to sinceyou need to have straps aligned evenly.

Similar to some reviews, it was much smaller than expected, but I never want for more space!! This bag is organized, all the pockets in all the right places. So chic, and I love the stroller clips, backpack, and tote options. The versatility of this bag is endless. If you are even thinking about buying it, get it!

I spent a while trying to find a backpack style diaper bag that didn't look like a diaper bag. This one is a winner, it's super cute and chic and not gigantic. There are three issues for me - 1. the straps that make it "convertible" have to way to stabilize in the "backpack wearing" position. If you try to put it on your back with one hand/one strap at a time, the straps WILL be uneven and you can not adjust them once on your back. The solution is to even up the straps EVERY TIME you want to wear it, and put it on with both hands and straps at the same time. 2. the closure is a snap that goes under a little strap - super awkward, but my solution has been to disregard that small strap and just snap it closed on top of it. 3. It wasn't apparent to me in the description that in order for the bag to look compact and narrow at the top you have to criss cross the stroller straps inside to hold it in. Once they are hooked together the bag looks great, but every time you go in the bag to get something, there's criss crossed stroller straps blocking all your stuff.
