I have used these cartridges for the past 4 years. I was discouraged that the cartridges were discontinued at my BB&B, but thanks to the manager he ordered 5 more, which I will use over the upcoming years. One cartridge usually lasts me a year or two, depending on how much I use one for the winter time. I highly recommend that a person use these filters, as they take the smell out of the water and do not allow calcium buildup.

I have had two ultrasonic humidifiers, both of which had the demineralization wheel that sat under water tank. They no longer make the 'wheel' style and replaced them with these capsules that you put into the water tank. Every capsule I have put into the tank splits open and is impossible to get out. There are 3 capsules in my tank now that I cannot get out... using filtered water, I still get a white dust in the air from the minerals. They do not work as well as the previous wheel design.

Not much excitement that I can say about these cartridges other than they certainly do the job! The HoMedics Humidifier is terrific! This is the third winter we are using it and it really "does the trick"! Easy to use as well!!

Really happy with the two humidifiers purchased about a month ago. It is so convenient to fill at the top without having to remove anything or haul heavy containers around. I like the three settings for the amount of mist you want, and an optional night light. The only drawback is that we have very hard water so the light for cleaning is on every two to three days. COVID has interrupted the ability to buy distilled water.
