HoMedics® TotalComfort® Deluxe Ultrasonic Warm or Cool Mist Humidifier in Black

Clearly not the better products that HoMedics used to sell! We have clean city water and the unit keeps stopping when there is water. I have to slam the water tanks down and it start working again, for a short time. Then there's a loud motor noise that goes away only when you unplug the power cord and plug it back in.

I’ve had this humidifier for over a year, using it mainly through the winter time. I love how much water it holds, as I hate having to constantly refill. It has a lot of great features, warm and cool mist. The one downside is that it is impossible to get the humidifier fully clean. There is so much area within the humidifier you cannot reach to clean. I spent half an hour rinsing out different areas, and there was still gunk coming out with the water. It’s an uncomfortable feeling knowing that it’s all gunned up and pumping that into the air. I’ve decided to replace this with one that is easier to clean.

The design is terrible. It regularly stops working and needs to be shaken for the water to flow again. Waste of a wedding gift.

this humidifier is ok but very hard to fill reservoirs-you have to tip upside down to fill and top has point-very difficult to hold onto and fill

for the past 2 nights, the humidifier has leaked from the bottom and we can no longer use it. there is no content to address leaking in the manual. we have used this consistently for the past 6 months without an issue, keeping it clean and well maintained. no idea what happened but the water first stained the bedside table and then last night leaked into the floor boards into the canned light in our family room downstairs.

we purchased these because of the 2 gallon capacity.We have had wonderful luck with other Homedics products ,but not these. The first issue is the white powder on EVERYTHING! The next issue is that our eyes started itching about 3 days after we started to use these humidifiers. Very dissapointed with these. We will be sending them back A.S.A.P.

There is no way to fully clean this model. We have to stop using due to this, it’s gross. The cylinder type is much better. And it’s a pain to fill this one, the reservoir can’t stand on their own. Thanks, SN

I love this humidifier. The output is substantial and it really has helped our dry apartment and my sons sinuses. Yes the tanks are a little hard to fill because they don't stand on their own and they are heavy when full. Small price to pay for the quality! Also has so much less hard water issues then our older teardrop model. I am very pleased with its performance!
