Looking to buy another Hatch Rest for my parents’ to aid in babysitting, I thought this 2nd gen would be an upgrade to the 1st gen. It’s not and it’s clear the early success of the brand and product has made them greedy. First of all, I would have been fine if the same songs and sounds were still included as the base configuration of this 2nd gen with a subscription plan to add more. That’s not what they did. They have removed the included lullabies (which my daughter loves) and now ask you to pay $5 per month to access them on the 2nd gen device. This is a slap in the face to customers who supported the product and stayed loyal to the brand. I’m returning it and looking to buy another device or used 1st gen.
Having a unit that changes colors and sound’s automatically, has been a game changer when getting ready for bed. Our infant now tells us when it’s time for bed because the light changed colors 🙌

Between a busy five-year-old, and an autistic toddler with sleep issues, this is a life saver! We've had so many more nights of great sleep! Love it!

I love that you can customize sounds and colors to what my daughter likes. It helped her be excited to use it and follow the routine.

We love our hatch! I love that you can set the bedtime and a timer so you don’t have to worry about it at all. The colors are very subtle and the sounds are amazing!

She had the older version for our first and loved it. Decided to get this one and love it even more! Love all the customization, the clock, and the sounds. Highly recommend.
