I swear this is the reason our daughter slept so well from the day we brought her home from the hospital. The ‘upside down’ zipper is great for overnight diaper changes because it is unnecessary to undo the whole swaddle. Just unzip from the legs up to the diaper area. I just wished I would have had it for her while she was in the hospital. She would bust out of her blanket swaddle and wake up.
I bought this sleep sack and a regular halo sack without the swaddle flaps. My advice is that if you want to swaddle your baby, buy the specially designed "swaddle me" blankets that Velcro. This sack when used as a swaddle has too much loose material. There is no velcro on the bottom flap so it can easily come loose and cover your LO's face (this happened to me). When the flaps are positioned in the back for use as a regular sleep sack, it makes for a lumpy and uncomfortable surface for your LO to sleep...and again, the flaps can come loose. Overall these are just too much material so you are better off buying the sleep sacks...just not the swaddle version like this one.

When he got home he wore this swaddle and now when we have someone we know have NICU babies this is the first thing I buy. Even though they can be hard to find in Preemie sizes, I thank you for making this amazing product! The parents we send them too are extremely grateful too!

Our first experience with this swaddle/sack was day one in the hospital after she was born. I didn’t realize they were Halos, so when I saw them online I bought 4 because I knew they were great! I have the cream color and blowouts wash right out no problem.
Perfect for winter, fits tighter than cotton swaddle.
