My LO was sleeping in 2 hour stretches or more if I co-slept after side nursing. I knew this wasn't safe and wanted a better option for baby and better sleep for me. As a mom of 3, I needed energy. I had already used the Halo bassinet for my second. But just learned they had an infant insert and I was willing to give it a go. My LO hated being swaddled. She wanted her hands free because she sleeps spread out like a frog but likes the comfort of being held, hense the co-sleeping. I could never transfer her if she'd fallen asleep. The Halo infant insert allowed a smooth transfer because it cradled her. The first night in it she slept a 6 hour stretch. She routinely sleeps 5 to 6 hours at a time now and takes 2 or 3 hour naps two or 3 times a day.
This insert is so flimsy and did not feel secure when installed. The quality is not worth the expensive price tag so I will be returning. Also noted as a newborn insert for a newborn bassinet this should be included.

While this does decrease the footprint of the Bassinest for baby, it didn't work for my baby as a newborn. My baby loves to feel really snug so we had to do a different combination. I would still reccommend it to new parents to try out as it might work for other babies! It is super easy to install and is made of mesh sides so baby can breathe if they happen to move around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this insert because our newborn only wanted to sleep in a lounger and not the bassinet. The insert didn’t help her get comfortable in the bassinet or make much of a difference. However, I like that it provides a safe sleep environment and makes the bassinet smaller for a newborn to be more comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product made a huge difference in the sleep of my newborn. He squirms constantly and I was finding him wiggled everywhere in the bassinet. This product keeps him in one place while also making him feel more secure. Significantly improved his sleep time!!
