Haakaa® 4 oz. Silicone Breast Pump

Honestly, of all the baby products I have I use this the most. I don’t normally write reviews but if this can help a new mom or any mom out to make the choice to buy this or not, then it’s so worth it. I don’t know what I’d do without it. I use it practically all day everyday. Plus it’s super comfortable. My son and I are very grateful for this perfect product.

it gets you decompressed in a pinch, can always get another 2 ounces of milk out of the breast with this. has saved me from clogged ducts/mastitis more than once when I took my portable pumps on overnight trips and they didn't empty me fully. so simple and helpful, I always carry this with the rest of my portable pump parts to work and when away from home. LOVE

Whoever invented this…thank you!! So I’m a first-time breastfeeding mom and an experienced mom, as well as my lactation consultants recommended this product strongly…I think it can’t hurt to get such a cheap product and gonna be honest I was skeptical at first…so my story was my baby had tongue tie issues and it took us 2 weeks to find out and get a procedure done which to that point, 60% of the milk supply was destroyed and baby was basically taking formula all the time. I really wanted to give it a shot again re: low breast milk supply after the baby tongue tie was fixed and was suggested that I should pump as often as I can. I hated the electronic pumps (I purchased a medela and a spectra…I’m super serious about breastfeeding and both hurt like hell and can’t get much out.) so I started feeding baby and hook this thing on the other side…weirdest thing happened and I started to lactate naturally when baby starts suction on the other side! This thing really helped with emptying the breast and thus has boosted my production greatly. It’s now 7:23 in the morning and I was able to collect almost 5 oz from two feedings through the night, and during daytime I get about an oz each feeding from the haakaa, that’s 10+ oz per day just with the haakaa!! So happy about it!!

I used this a lot when I was pumping to collect colostrum before giving birth. So I was excited to try it while breastfeeding. My baby squirms around so it got kicked off often while full of milk (so upsetting) and when I was able to pin it between my baby and me it got pinched off or squished so much it hurt my nipple. Otherwise I double pump, so not really useful at this point. I also find it hard to get a comfortable amount of suction when engorged. Pretty much became useless overnight. The lady bug thing Haakaa makes is way too big to be comfortable. Got the Elvie catch instead and those are exactly what I need.

If you are breast feeding you have to have this item! I use it every time I nurse my baby and I usually collect 1-2 ounces from the other breast that he is not nursing on. I recommend this product to all of my new mom friends.

As a first time mom it’s hard to know which items will be useful & which you wish you never had purchased. This is definitely a useful tool if you don’t want to be hooked up to a pump! It’s a great thing to have when breast-feeding— allowing to easily catch the let down of your other breast. I get about 1 ounce every feeding which I am then able to use for oatmeal later in the day. Love it and would recommend to all mommas!

These are a godsend - they work how I need them too! I don’t pump everyday but enough for nights/mornings I can sleep in and my hubs can take a feeding shift. We paired these with the Zip Top Breast Milk Storage set and it works for us!
