Graco® TrioGrow™ SnugLock® LX 3-in-1 Car Seat in Sonic

I bought it because it is known to be a good product even though it has not been used yet

I have a 4ever and just got this bc it’s all my store had in stock. It’s hard to install, it doesn’t have the easy click click latches like my 4ever, it doesn’t have a level it has a ball that’s takes forever to stop rolling so you can see if it’s in the blue or not, rear facing I can’t reach the recline lever so I have to completely uninstall to adjust, and my 4 month old looks like he’s sitting too high like his head tilted downward instead of forward. It’s cute, it looks basically like my 4ever but it is not the same. I assumed all Gracos would come with these things standard! Especially the latch and level!

I bought this thinking how great it would be to use for years to come. If you have a latch system it installs fine, but it did not work well with just a seat belt. I'm most unhappy with the positioning. I put my 10 month old in it and there was a gap and pushed his chin to his chest. So I tried it for my 2 year old and the same thing happened. It's too angled so their backs didn't match up and made them slump. I didn't get to return it in the time frame or else I would have. I'm now stuck with a car seat I can't use and I'm extremely unhappy. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

My 10 month old cannot get comfortable in this seat. There is just something off. She leans far forward, sits awkward with or without the padding. She is so uncomfortable with her head position she can’t fall asleep because her head falls forward and her but slides forward she sits in almost a C shape in the seat. There is just something off about this seat, we have tried a couple different reclined positions and nothing seems like she sits in it correctly. Very disappointing as this is my third child and we have always happily stood by graco but I’m very unsatisfied with this seat.

Anyone else have issues with their 3yo being able to unclip the CHEST & CROTCH clip?? She can get out of this car seat lightening fast & I catch her standing up in the back seat multiple times during a quick trip and road trips. Maybe she’s too smart BUT I feel like the clips shouldn’t be this easy for a little 3yo to be able to un clip…maybe ours is defected? Maybe we need a different brand? Someone help me out because I’m tired of pulling over to get on to her…she knows how to clip herself back in as well.

Everything on this seat is good, except for the crotch area it is too short. I adjusted it to the outer location but it barely sticks out and I assume within the year it will become useless for my 1 1/2 yr old son. This is my 2nd Graco seat I have bought within the last 4 months but this crotch problem needs to be fixed it won't last long for my kid. I should have bought the deluxe seat I already had that one was perfect.

This seat was sent to us as a replacement for my 4ever DLX and I like this one much better! The snuglock feature is amazing. It doesn't take much effort to get a great install. I also really like how sleek the black color looks, it looks fancy even though it's on the cheaper side. I'll probably order this one again in the future!

After EXTENSIVE research, my husband and I agreed on this car seat for our baby girl. It's highly rated by consumer reports and it has nice washable fabric that is easy to take apart and put back together. The safety ratings while using LATCH and seatbelt to secure while front and rear facing were what did it for us. We like the cupholders. I practiced installing in the back seat of my Hyundai Elantra front and rear facing, and I practiced installing in my husband's Toyota RAV4 front and rear facing. The design of this car seat makes it easy to make sure things are fully secured. Our baby girl seems extremely comfortable. The only negative that I can see so far is that where the shoulder straps buckle into the crotch buckle leaves a small divot in her upper thighs. She doesn't seem concerned and I'm not really either.
