My kids are now 6 and 3years old and have been in these since probably 6 months old. We have two in each car. The only “issue” is that the main strap to lock them in place is pretty tough to tighten and loosen so only I (Dad) can tighten/loosen it. Regardless, these are much better than the other brands the grandparents got. I would highly recommend them. The cup holders are nice for the various toys kids always have. Kids haven’t complained they’re uncomfortable. Once proper fastened down, they’re very sturdy. As the kids hit 3/4 years of age they’re strong enough to unbuckle the 5pt harness; which is cool as they’re typically mature enough to handle this responsibility. Size adjustments are great too. Buy these, or don’t.
I ordered 2 of these car seats in late August 2020 and received the car seats with a manufacture date of November 2019. That is almost a year old. Car seats expire so I am losing out on time that they could have been used. If the car seats are going to be older when you buy them, it should be listed on the website as a warning that you don't how old the car seats will be until you get them. When you buy something brand new that will have an expiration, you don't expect it to be almost a year old when you buy it.

The bottom clasp that the 2 hooks go in is very tight. It’s not going to adjust with growth. Please advise.

We needed to buy a car seat for our grandson for our car because he is growing out of his Graco infant seat. I searched a lot online and decided to stick with Graco because I like what he has now and the reviews are good. I liked that this one was space saving as we have other grandkids that may need to fit in the backseat. When I opened up I was impressed with the feel of the seat. It feels good quality and durable, but also comfortable. I love how as he grows you don’t have to adjust shoulder straps, you just raise the head support with on lever and automatically adjusts! So much better than when my kids where small! The installation was simple to me and set right to where the level said it should be. Also the adjustment to tighten/loosen straps works very smoothly. I look forward to trying my grandson in his “big boy” seat! I definitely recommend for someone not looking to spend a fortune but still have a nice quality seat that doesn’t take up tons of room and I would suspect it would be great for plane travel:)
