the camera itself turns off after that it must be turned on manually so as not to lose the recording of what is happening. Image quality isn't worth the money

Bought it new, worked great for a few weeks and then the camera image went pink and it never worked correctly anymore. This is a known issue if you research these symptoms, Google did replace it, so that was nice.

Video quality issues can happen if your camera gets too hot or too cold, and can be avoided by these: - Make sure that your camera is not exposed to direct sunlight. - Avoid placing your camera near objects that can cause overheating like light bulbs, lamps, large equipment/appliances, air vents, etc. - Do not use indoor cameras outside, they are not designed for outdoor use and have an operating temperature range for indoor environments. - Your camera's video might also have a pink, blue or purple hue if there's a problem with the Night vision. After 1 trillion attempts, I give up…can’t get google assistant to connect to my two new indoor IQ’s. My older ones are no problem. Frustrating.

What one would expect. Quality is stunning. You plug it in follow the configuration steps and it just works. Its integration with Google Home it is definitely a plus. More than happy with it and I totally recommend it.

We have other Google Nest products and all I had to do to set this up was plug it in and scan a QR code. So simple. Camera has a wide view so my whole living room (approx. 12' x20') fits in view. This also has a great clear picture. Worth every penny in my opinion. Although I did find them on sale! :p
