I bought this for my 4 month old baby girl & it was great! It was a great first practice food to help my baby learn to use a spoon! You can easily adjust the consistency as baby becomes a better eater. I haven't tried the whole wheat or oatmeal yet, but I would love to!!
My daughter is allergic to soy and milk and I have always chosen Gerber over other brands I trust gerber products but was disappointed when I had bought the biggest tub of rice cereal to get home and think to read the ingredients to find it had soy...

|Thank you for reaching out to us, we are so sorry for this experience. As you mentioned, Soy lecithin is present in the GERBER Rice Cereal. Only your child’s doctor can determine if a soy allergic child can tolerate soy lecithin. Soy lecithin is not a highly refined soy oil and can contain small amounts of soy protein. My kids and I all love this cereal. But, I recently noticed that the box is no longer labeled gluten free. The website that stated it is gluten free. However, it is unnerving for a parent of a child with severe wheat allergies when the label disappears. Is this truly Safe for a person with a wheat allergy?
