I bought this about a month ago and at first I wasn't sure I'd made the right decision. I've never owned a carrier like this before and I felt like the learning curve was pretty steep. I went to my local babywearing group and they helped me get the right fit and now I looove it! My boy is 3 months and 17lbs. We currently just use the pillow from the infant insert but not the whole insert. Pros: It really does allow for heat to escape. My little boy had a fever for three days recently and wanted to be held all the time. When I put him in this I could literally feel the heat escaping from the back panel. I don't think I could have worn him for such a long period of time in any other carrier. We are going to the Caribbean this week and I cannot wait to use it in the heat there. My only cons are that I feel like the straps rub under my arms, although I am pretty sensitive there, & I wish there was a pocket to store keys/phone or something small.

Got this carrier because it was supposed to be cooler than the other ones. I returned it because of several reasons: the fabric is actually very rough on my new baby's skin, the shoulder straps are super bulky and it looked terrible on me a women, 5'8" 125 lbs, and it caused shoulder pain!! I really hated this carrier even though I wanted to love it.

Love this carrier. Easy to figure out, very durable. Gives us freedom to do normal things like cook and clean while our baby comes along for the ride.

I had been looking for a carrier to use just while running errands when I don’t want to lug around the stroller but I really did end up using it much in the states. I have traveled to India, in a city that’s not great for pushing a stroller around, and it has literally saved my back and arms from carrying baby everywhere. Baby always sits comfortably either facing me or out and has slept comfortably in there while I carry her around. It has been a godsend for travel! Also a tip for plus size parents, I wear a pant size 22 US and I wear this with no issue.

Fits great. My back doesn’t hurt! It does take some getting used to so I recommend doing test drives around the house. Definitely recommend the mesh! Baby sweats so much less!

Scratchy fabric that supports the head Lucy ·

I love the carrier except for the fabric that supports baby’s head which feels like scratchy polyester. As an adult, i wouldn’t want that fabric against my neck and face, so i think it’s especially inappropriate for babies. Unsure why this was overlooked when the other carriers have soft cotton to support the head? My baby gets a rash and marks on her neck and the side of her face. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone and strongly advise ergobaby to make the fabric around the face soft cotton and suggest they rub this fabric on their neck and face to see if it feels nice?

When I first opened this I was instantly upset because this seemed way more complicated than I could handle. Turns out it is super easy to use! My son instantly settles down when I put him in this. It’s so convenient for around the house, going into stores, etc and I don’t have to worry about him crying because he loves it. The way it holds the baby helps him/her pass gas which is an added bonus. This carrier is such a big win for us!

Overall good product. My baby is 3mos and I do feel like he is still small for some of the wearing options but it works to put him asleep fast in the front wearing option. It will be great in future months with him!
