[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this came with a swaddling blanket and two beanie hats, the hats definitely have an odd fit, very tight on the rim, but lots of excess fabric on top almost giving an “elf hat” look. I have seen much cuter layette sets from Carters brand.

I think it's important for swaddles and any clothing made for newborns to be both soft and non irritating because our babies have such delicate skin when they're born. The color is beautiful and fits snuggly on my little guy's body. As a mom of 2 I can tell you that not all swaddles are created equal so it was nice to have one that I liked and that didn't irritate my baby's skin. The set included one swaddle blanket and 2 hats .

Easy to swaddle a newborn with the blanket, but older babies might be more difficult as it doesn’t stretch well, so can’t get super tight. The hats are a little small, but are of great quality. Super cute for newborn pictures at the hospital, but also perfect for every day use. Highly recommend for a baby shower gift.

The hat that comes with it is the first that he has kept on his head. It is just as soft and snuggly as the blanket. I will be looking into bigger hat sizes for him.
