Elvie® Wearable Single Electric Breast Pump

Took the intimidation away from pumping and I love that I can track it on my phone!

Pro: convenient! I bought this specifically for the convenience of it. I exclusively pump so I wanted the option to not be hooked up. For this reason alone I do really like it and continue to use it for 1-2 pumps per day. Cons: Price. It is very expensive. This is my second pump so my insurance did not cover it. I also do not typically pump as many ounces on this as I do my other pump. Finally, for a pump as expensive as this, I think the design of the pump and the app could be better. When I am done pumping and I take it off, milk often leaks down the pump. I wish I could store the actual pump in the fridge with the rest of the parts in between pump sessions. This would save me time. I wish when I started a timer on the app, that the pumping stopped when the timer is done.

I like this pump as it is quiet but the battery doesn’t last very long , I have to charge it after every 20 minutes session and I have only used the normal suction. Sometimes it stops itself, At first thought maybe because it reached 120ml mark but it was only 100 ml and it does every time when one side has more than 100 ml. I still like it and I haven’t touched my other pumps since I have bought Elvie. I exclusively nurse so I only pump twice in a day.

I won’t focus too much on the positives as there are so many reviews highlighting these. They do what they say on the tin however, when charging them overnight, their settings revert to default. This is a real pain at 3am when I just need to pop them on and let them work as they did at the last session. I’d also like to see a usbc charging port to avoid the need for an excessive variety of cables in the house

I got these pumps a few weeks after my son was born. Before I got them I had to sit down and use a regular pump. I can't even describe the difference these make. Suddenly I could actually do things while pumping. Before I could barely even hold my phone while pumping. I will strongly recommend these to every new mom I meet.

We bought this to use Came with 2 issue pump, one can not connect to iphone The other batrery only last half time I complained it to custom service, they only sent innone replacement Good pump, but quality controll is bad. Custom service is not that super easy

After feeling so attached to my spectra, I splurged on this for myself to get more freedom. Unfortunately the output was about half of the spectra, so I ended up using both to empty out. I tried the 21mm falanges (worked best for me) and made sure all the alignments were perfect / used bra extenders for positioning and made sure everything was completely dry. The product was not worth it for my body I guess. Bummed because it’s sooo expensive and there’s no $ guarantee or safe resale options. I liked the app and the style / size.

No matter the time of day or even I chose to pump, I never pumped more then an ounce. Well, it’s compact and easy to travel with. I find that the effectiveness of the pumping is just not there. It’s a lot of work to set up and clean to not get a lot of output. Also, the Bluetooth is terrible. It constantly disconnects from my phone and then doesn’t track the amount of ounces and it’s never ever close to correct when it says how much it is actually accumulating during the pumping sessions. The app is supposed to track how much milk is being collected. Lots of bugs to work out. Go with a cheaper pump.
