I bought this mostly for work but thought it would be great at home as well. Are used it quite a bit before I started work again after maternity leave and it worked great. I’m a dental hygienist and when I went back to work, it was really nice because I didn’t have to find time in between patients to pump and no one seemed to notice that I was even pumping. The only problem that I’ve had is that sometimes it feels like it’s not working so I’d have to turn it off and turn it on a couple times to get it to work. But I haven’t had it that long so I don’t know if that was anything to worry about.
I bought it a 3weeks ago although it makes life easier,I’ve had it leak 4 times. which is frustrating considering I don’t produce as much, so every drop counts for me. Also with how much was paid for this product you’d expect it not to leak.

I finally got to use my elvie for the first time. I was actually surprised by how much I was able to express. I stuck to the 15 minute recommendation of my Lactation consultant and was able to get 30 cc per breast, which is enough for 2 bottles. It fit pretty comfortably, and has a less aggressive pull compared to the one I used in the hospital (medela). The only cons were that I had to buy the smallest nipple plate (22) from the Elvie website, which cost almost $40 since I didn’t come as an included accessory. (They have the medium and larger sizes included). Also, It takes a long time to sterilize/clean and has many pieces per wash. Some of the milk leaked out when I pumped for 25 min (was busy doing something) and was laying back on the couch (totally forgot). I would suggest, pressing the press play against the breast first, then lock in the base; pump sitting upright; clean immediately after use. All in all, a great product, so I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews.
Was great when it worked - when my baby was four weeks old one of the hubs wouldn’t turn on or off and won’t reset and now it is completely useless - for the cost extremely disappointing

I’ve had nonstop issues with this pump. Some that were addressed by Elvies customer service by sending replacement parts but still, they leak constantly even if I am sitting upright. I got these to pump at work as a nurse and it’s nearly impossible.

I bought this when I went back to work so that I could pump while working. The convenience and ability to do other things is really nice. My devices make a squeaky noise sometimes while pumping which I don't understand why - they started making that noise as soon as I started using them (have had for less than 2 months). The measurements seem a little off too while pumping so I end up pouring them in a bottle to get a more accurate measurement. The ease and portability may be worth the high price tag, but it is expensive so I think it's up to personal preferences!

I purchased Elvie Pump Double just under a month ago and have had constant noise issues - so much so I am currently awaiting arrival of my 6th hub. As someone who has at the time of typing experienced 5 hubs I can say pretty clearly that these are not quiet pumps let alone ultra quiet. To contextualise, my husband can hear them in the next room. It is also noteworthy that in my interactions with the service team I have learnt that they don't recommend using a dishwasher, steam steriliser or microwave sterilisation for the parts due to warping (even though there is no warning of this before you purchase and advertise using a dishwasher): "We have had a couple of reports of warping, and it does seem like it is an issue with microwave/ steam sterilizing/ dishwasher machines, which may develop high temperatures. Furthermore, we've tested sterilizing extensively, but these devices are all slightly different, and it looks like some of them are causing problems with the washable parts. Bearing this in mind, we are currently recommending cold water sterilization, or boiling a pan of water, reducing the heat to a simmer and sterilizing your washable components in that pan for 5 minutes maximum. We don't believe either of these methods will cause warping." The app is the other problem: - The pumps frequently struggle to connect or lose connection - Smart Rhythm pumping is not available on Android - The milk volume estimation is very wrong all the time, I've seen no evidence of it "learning" with time and have actually found that after correcting the volumes on the app it will change them back again Otherwise they are as convenient as any other wearable breast pump...

I exclusively pump, and wanted to find a wearable pump so that I can be hands free, cord free, so that I can go about daily tasks and play with my daughter. I started using it at 9 months postpartum. After giving it a few weeks use, it works well, it actually feels more like breastfeeding than any other pump I've used. However, because it is Bluetooth driven, it's not 100% every time. I find myself not being able to track the output afterwards because a connection failed. My expression is about the same, even when using my other pumps. The elvie is comfortable, hides well, quiet, very quiet. Easy to clean, easy to dry, light to pack and store and travel with.

Took the intimidation away from pumping and I love that I can track it on my phone!

Pro: convenient! I bought this specifically for the convenience of it. I exclusively pump so I wanted the option to not be hooked up. For this reason alone I do really like it and continue to use it for 1-2 pumps per day. Cons: Price. It is very expensive. This is my second pump so my insurance did not cover it. I also do not typically pump as many ounces on this as I do my other pump. Finally, for a pump as expensive as this, I think the design of the pump and the app could be better. When I am done pumping and I take it off, milk often leaks down the pump. I wish I could store the actual pump in the fridge with the rest of the parts in between pump sessions. This would save me time. I wish when I started a timer on the app, that the pumping stopped when the timer is done.
