Elvie® 3-Pack 5 oz. Breast Pump Bottles in Clear/Grey

I highly recommend this product.

Man am I disappointed with these breast pumps. Did a lot of research against the competitor and decided on these so that I didn't have to deal with proprietary milk bags. Not sure the competition would have been better, but these are SO frustrating! It IS better than the traditional breast pumps, so definitely worth it on that front, but that's where it ends. Things I find frustrating: 1. NO SUCTION half of the time when I first start pumping. Take it apart...put it back together...no suction. Take it apart...put it back together...no suction. This goes for five or more times until FINALLY it starts having suction. But then.... 2. IT LEAKS. Almost 100% of the time. In fact, no joke, it leaked all over me as I am writing this review. I have to wear nursing breast pads every time over the whole unit in my bra to make sure I don't leak milk all over my shirt. Not clear where it is leaking from - seems like the container release button. I learned the hard way while pumping at work, which speaking of... 3. IT'S NOT DISCREET. There is no way I'd pump in public with these things on. It looks like I have boobs on top of my boobs. And while they're not loud, they sure aren't silent. Plus, and most infuriating, there are two very bright LED lights on the top of the pumps that you can't turn off, which shine through my shirts and now it looks like I have UFO boobs on top of my boobs. 4. BETTER THAN TRADITIONAL. It is still better than traditional breast pumping. The mobility aspect is awesome, but you still have to be careful. These have an "auto off" function which is meant to be triggered when the containers are full. BUT, if you are too active and the milk sloshes around, or if you bend over too much, it'll trigger the "full" sensor and turn off. There...that's it. I never write reviews, but had to for this because I'm so mad. I want my money back.

I have been using Elvie for over 6 months now and the bottles are small but hold a good amount of milk. I only pump for 20 mins and can fill up the bottle pretty fast which gives me much needed relief. Easy to pack to work and carry around. One con is that the rubber spouts has started getting loose so every time I take it out, it falls off the bottles. The pump also fails to begin pumping if the bottle and the pump are not perfectly aligned; unfortunately it has no alerting mechanism to troubleshoot. You only figure out that the alignment in the issue through trial and error, disassembling and reassembling, which can be frustrating. The price point is also on the higher end which can be daunting. Is it worth it? Personally, because I was returning back to work and my office does not have a lactation room, this has been a life saver.

I bought this because when I pumped with my first born it felt so unnatural and I hated that I was attached to a wall. I also couldn’t stand the sound of the pump so you can imagine how intrigued I was to find a silent, wireless breast pump! After receiving/using Elvie I am sold. Being able to take care of a newborn and a toddler while pumping is a whole new world and incredibly liberating! I’m especially looking forward to going back to work to pump while I’m at my desk hands & wall free. This product has been a life saver!!

The bottles are fine but due to the shape are somewhat hard to clean. Also the measurements seem a little off so I only use them to approximate how much milk I got but if I need to know more precise I have to use something else.

I bought the Elvie pump in March and have been using it since end of March. I absolutely love love love this pump. It makes my life so easy as a new mum. Its super simple to use and the mobility really helps as I juggle between things while pumping. What truly stood out for me was that I was really struggling with sore nipples in my second week of breastfeeding and had it not been for Elvie pump (I.e. how easy it was to put together and use) I would have given up on breastfeeding and have given formula to my baby. Thank you Elvie team for letting me stay strong and helping me continue my breastfeeding journey.

You new upgraded app is great where controls & status are together but we can only see the pic of the battery showing how much is left but we cant see the percentage of battery left unless we go to the pump info. Your controls = status window should also show the battery % instead of just the battery picture
