Dreambaby® 2-Pack Slim-Line Slide Locks

I had high hopes for this product since the brand's Twist N' Lock Multi-purpose latches worked well for keeping my dresser drawers securely locked and babyproofed. Unfortunately, this product disappointed me. I used it for a few days before an important piece attached to a spring got dislodged so I can no longer slide the lock on properly, no matter how hard I press the release button. This product should have been easier to use and I wish I didn't have to throw this product away.

We had these in use for less than 1 month and once you unlock them on the cabinet drawers, you can't relock it without using lots of strength. My husband is the only one who can relock it while using a lot of force and I cannot which is not ideal as it needs to be relocked during the day. Stick with Safety 1st locks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with these Slim-Line Slide Locks! They work so well & so easily. I like that they were so easy to install! You just take them straight out of the packaging, unlock it, pull back to the end, put it around the knobs on the cabinets you wish to keep your kids out of, and then you push the 2 buttons on the slide in & push it forward to lock it. And voila! Thanks for such a great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These locks work well. My toddler gets into EVERYTHING and since I put these on the cabinets, I haven't had a problem. The only downside is now it's a little harder for me to get into the cabinets to get what I need because the buttons are hard to push.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of these slide locks seem ok but I had a really hard time opening them. I realize they’re supposed to keep kids out, but it hurt my fingers because I had to pinch so hard with my knuckles just to get it open. One of them won’t open at all so I’m not sure if it’s faulty or if I’m doing something wrong. Once they’re on the cabinet, they work as advertised!
