This mattress is VERY comfortable and durable. It comes with a mattress cover, however not knowing this I purchased a waterproof padded one as well.
Looks quilted on the pictures but it’s actually a design printed on the plastic/vinyl surface. The “soft” side feels like a Brillo pad and is so loud I’m pretty sure it would wake everyone up if the kid rolled over. Returned.

This mattress is pretty hard. We had to buy a mattress cover to add some comfort.

Hi Reyes, Our breathable 6 Inch Foam Mattress Full Size Crib & Toddler Mattress is a two sided Mattress that has the firm side of the bed for infants and the plusher side for toddlers! Also, this mattress is covered with a breath flow material on the infant side and a waterproof cover on the toddler side with lock stitch seams. A mattress cover is a great option to prevent any stains and can be easily washed.
