I have used these bottles for all three of my children. These are the only bottles a mother should have a being a first time mommy I didn't know that and tried 5 different bottles then these and never went back to any others. My first needed them for spit up and the vent system did the trick, then my exclusively breast feed daughter used them just briefly after we were done breastfeeding for 9 months. And now on my last baby THANK YOU DR BROWNS for the preemie flow. He was full term but could not handle the flow of number one. We are now on level 3 at 8 months and used the y cut when he had added cereal in his milk (silent and regular acid reflux). I can't say enough great things about Dr browns! They now even make option bottle to use without the vent and we have those as well and they work good but I still prefer to use the vent system. With my last baby we also did half bottle and breast till he took only the bottle and he took these perfectly no problem with the nipple then back to breast!
I bought the Options Bottle about a month ago. At first, I thought it was great. It was the only nipple my son would latch onto. Now, every single bottle leaks! I've tried labeling the ones that don't leak and thought maybe the ventilation system and nipple only truly fit the bottle it original came with. But with trying all the different combinations to prevent leaks all my bottles still leak. It's just a big mess and I'm so dissapointed because I do not have any other options in terms of my son latching onto a different brand nipple. And I have read all the solutions to a leaky bottle on the Dr.Brown's website and none of them worked! I'm truly disappointed!

We originally started using the size 1 nipples for my newborn as we are combo feeding and the gassiness she suffered from was insane. We tried paced feeding as well and she was borderline colicky. Once we switched to the premie nipple, she is not nearly as gassy, takes her time on the bottle and we are much happier with the overall purchase.

We breastfeed but with me going back to work soon, we started introducing bottles. We were gifted 5 different kinds at our baby shower and these are the only ones our baby latches on to well. Happy and now we have 10 bottles to keep in our stash for when I’m at work.

The best bottle ever for newborn! I tried others & they led to gas, switching to these has been amazing and has made bottle feeding so much easier and more comfortable for my little one!

Baby milk flew everywhere while shaking my baby bottle. I took the lid off and tightened it again even tighter and the same thing happened again. My baby was only able to drink half a bottle because we were still forced to give it to him because it was the only bottle we brought with us to dinner. Milk leaked the entire time while he was drinking.

Get the green ones with the rounded top, they don't leak. These are horrible

I would say they are great for the nipple options, but #I is too fast after having baby on preemie nipples before. And side feeding is necessary to slow down the flow. However, if nanny is drinking from this bottle sideways, the bottles leak, no matter how well I align and assure everything is assembled properly. I am exclusively pumping and it’s aggravating to watch the milk just drip out as I feed my baby.

I received this as a gift for my newborn and he was having trouble eating from these bottles. it seems they fed him to fast for his speed BUT I contacted customer service and they couldn’t have been more helpful. They truly care about their customers and their babies. They tried helping me troubleshoot which didn’t help my babies feeding issue so they are sending different bottles and nipples to try that should better suit my baby. This company is amazing and everyone should buy from them because they really care and go above and beyond to help you be successful with bottle feeding!
