Diono radian® 3QX Ultimate 3 Across All-in-One Convertible Car Seat in Blue

I am always a Britax user, but I gave it a try after seeing great reviews about Diono. I really wanted to love this car seat, but it keeps failing on me. After not even a year of use, one side of the buckle belt broke. I have tried reaching out to Diono customer service since November of 2021, and they are impossible to reach out to. It is either because of a long wait time, or they never call back after leaving a message. The fabric is tough to take off and put back on after we washed it. Also, installing it is definitely not user-friendly, and mind you, the individual who installed it is certified in installing car seats, and yet he had trouble. SKIP this car seat. Indeed, a waste of money!

This is our second Diono carseat and I would not buy any other. The quality is outstanding with this brand. I feel like my little one has the safeat seat possible. I love how the new Diono is more user friendly to adjust! Also more cushioning in the seat area! Live the color and everything about this seat! Highly recommend!

love the protection the diono offers , my only thing i dislike is how heavy the seat is . Definitely not a seat you want to move car to car . But the seat is made of steel which offers more protection than some of the competitors .

Had to exchange for the graco slim fit! This seat definitely fits 3 in a row FORWARD FACING. Rear facing the back is so long that you have to push the passenger seat or drivers seat so far forward no one can sit (we have a standard medium SUV) and it was way to big! Also the padding is very thin and has huge gaps on the sides. Since this seat does not come with a base it was also very loose Rear facing (to loose to feel safe) If you only need it for forward facing older kids its good, otherwise giant waste of money! The graco slim fit we exchanged it for is a great slim option for multiple kids, its about the same width but the back is shorter and gives you 4 recline positions in both forward and rear facing position! Great when kiddos fall asleep

With 3 kids, there are not many car seats that can fit all 3 car seats in the back row. I have 2 Diono 3RXT for my two boys and this 3QX is perfect for my toddler daughter. It is comfortable with lots of padding and love all the safety features it has.

I bought 3. One was for my newborn and the other two for my older boys (2 & 5). My Older boys are sitting forward, as they have met height and weight requirements. My infant is obviously rear facing. I own a 2017 Prius. The seats do fit 3 in a row and we can still use the cup holders that hang off the side. That being said. In the rear facing position, the seat has to be on the passengers side, as it reclines so far back (infant position) that the passenger is sitting with knees on the glove box (I'm 5'2"). Once the infant has neck control, the recline can be reduced. I gave 4 stars for two reasons. 1) Cleaning the seat. I could not remove any of the materials. There may be a way, but I did not want to destroy the seat. I hand wash when needed. I bought a seat protector for my 2 year old. 2) If you are using for an infant, go ahead and purchase an infant insert. There is ZERO neck support provided with this seat. Or just get the 3QXT. Colors are beautiful, especially the blue. LATCH makes seats extremely easy to insert. We used seatbelt for middle seat. No big deal, as belt track is required at 40 pounds.

This seat begin to fray after two weeks. I contacted both buybuybaby and diono and they both refused to refund me my money. A seat that can’t uphold to a less than a month of use is a total waste of money. You’re better off going with Costco seat.
