We ordered this through a BBB store without knowing what it felt like and took a risk. We are happy we did. The bottom of the chair that shows how the swivel works is absolutely not that obvious. :) I was a little concerned there would be this giant circle that stands out but it doesn't. Some things to consider... -It doesn't rock when it's reclined so if you want to put your feet up and rock maybe get a cute pouf ottoman like we did. - The fabric is polyester and tough, great for kids, easily cleaned. - The recline bar is on the inside of the chair which means it won't break off like the outside ones do sometimes. - There's some assembley required and my husband did it. He is not handy at all so anyone can do it. - Smallar chair, doesn't take up a ton of space but not too small to sit comfortably in. Hope this helps.

So I was worried about purchasing one without sitting in it first and I was right to worry. It looks like nice and the fabric is comfortable but the back support is weak, the seat is worn down after only 4 months of use and the lever to recline NEVER works. You have to yank it reallllly hard. Which why would you want that when you’re rocking a baby to sleep?!?!? Also getting the chair out of the reclining position is even worse. You have to bash it to go in, and again. Really not conducive to getting a baby to sleep.for reference I’m 5’5 120 pounds and purchased this not even six months ago. I wish I could return it and get a different one.

I bought the ruby rocker/recliner when my first grandchild was born. The whole family loves it, and the baby loves to be rocked to sleep every night in it. I would highly recommend this rocker.

It takes a lot of force to recline and close back up which is very very hard with a newborn (especially if they fell asleep and you want to put them in bed).

This is a perfect chair for me. I’m 5’8” and 270 pre-pregnancy. So I have wide hips. This fits me nicely, is easy to recline in, and looks beautiful.

this chair is priced exactly right. Yes, my lazy boy recliner (2x the $) is a bit smoother in the recline and easier to push the foot stool back in. But I've now had this recliner for months and the back support is wonderful and the chair feels sturdy and comfortable. I have back and neck problems so I was worried about the right nursing chair, but I am so happy nursing my little one in this. I use the lumbar support pillow under my arm. I also was worried about the reviews stating how difficult replacing the foot stool is. It does loosen up with some use and is easier when you put your feet near the outer edge of the stool. Not a problem I would absolutely buy this again. For this price it is a quality piece of furniture.

After thorough resesrch I purchased this chair. But from day 1 it was so hard to recline. Had to pull the latch and pull the leg part to recline the chair with a loud thud!. When i tried to exchage, i have to drop it at fedex dropbox. I am pregnant. The chair is so big and heavy. And it wont even fit into the car if we can lift it. The exchange policy is so bad!!!

Some reviews are quite bad about this chair but I think it works perfectly. The only downfall I can say is that the pillow that comes with it isnt really comfy so we just removed it. It is quite large so make sure you have plenty of room for it. We bought the chair before we got the dresser so we could measure how much room we had left on that wall.
