As the title states it makes a terrible noise. It started as a slight rubbing type of sound right out of the box. Now, after 3 months of use (not daily) it creaks, squeaks, pops, and cracks. If you have a baby who is a light sleeper, good luck. Also, as others have mentioned it’s difficult to get the foot rest back down. It was impossible for me to do after my c-section.

Confortable and beautiful chair, I’ve been using this chair for a while and have no complaints. The only thing they could improve is that when reclining doesn’t lock the back part. The chair keeps moving forward. Other than that it’s a nice chair.

Like most reviewers, I read A LOT of reviews on gliders as it is nerve wracking to order one without testing it out. I took a chance on the DaVinci Maddox even with the negative reviews relating to the recline function and getting the foot rest back down. IGNORE THEM! There is absolutely nothing wrong with this chair. It looks very pretty (I have the grey mist), is comfortable and the the foot rest easily goes up and down. Granted, I've only sat in for 5 minutes so far as my baby isn't here, but I honestly see no issues with it. If people struggle that much with the recliner function, they need an electric chair because, again, it seems perfectly fine to me. It's not hard to put down and it's not super loud either. Don't let those reviews scare you -- this is a nice chair for the price!

Gliders and rocking chairs for nurseries have the worst reviews. I wanted something comfortable and that wouldn’t fall apart in a day. While this is on the smaller side the chair did not disappoint.. it’s comfortable, rocks and reclines doesn’t get much better then that!

this chair was comfortable but poorly stitched. I received it with the stitching popping open. the material is terrible. waiting for my refund now.

Super comfy and easy to maneuver like any other non automatic recliner. Love the color too!

I love this chair, it was really easy to put together and is comfy. The handle to pop the footrest was a little hard to find (its in the seat). It looks really attractive and like another chair I saw that was almost twice the price. get it!

Probably one of the most comfortable chairs I have ever had. Glides perfectly, reclines easily. The foot rest is difficult to latch back down after reclining but we have noticed that is true on every manual glider/recliner on the market. This one is easier than many we tried. Excellent quality for the price. Love the softly padded arms. Makes rocking a heavy toddler or nursing a baby much easier. Have only had it a few weeks so can’t speak to the durability of the fabric but assuming it holds up this will be an awesome purchase.
