Dapple® 13 fl. oz. Fragrance-Free Foaming Bottle & Dish Soap

It came open and the soap was all over my other items

I have usually use the regular Dapple dish soap (no fragrance), but I picked up a bottle of the foaming one to try out because I liked the convenience of not having to build up a lather. I use glass bottles for the baby (mason jars, the 4 oz and 8 oz jelly jars; look up Mason Bottle for accessories) and it works well enough on glass and any plastic items, like pump parts, nipple rings, and bottle caps. However, even though they seem to be the same product and one just foams, the foaming one doesn't get the milk film off silicone items (my Haakaa silicone pump or baby bottle nipples) as well as the regular dish soap. I do use it on silicone items that don't come into contact with breast milk, like a teething toothbrush (also by Haakaa) and a silicone straw that my baby also likes to use as a teether, but that's it. I've tried using it to clean the Haakaa multiple times. I'd scrub and rinse to look for any difference in cleanliness, but it only makes a little dent. Once I switch back to the regular soap, it gets way more off. It's still not perfect, it takes some time to get it completely off, but it works much better than the foaming soap. I don't know why it isn't as effective. Maybe it's because the regular soap is more concentrated or something. While I like it for the other things mentioned above, I don't know if I'd purchase it again. I find it curious that Dapple doesn't sell it on their Amazon store and, in fact, I can't find anyone carrying it on Amazon. I wonder if it's not very popular.

Really removes all milk residue from the bottles and the breast pump parts. I love this dishwashing soap.

Foam and bubbles are great. I can dispense onto a brush or into a bottle and not waste lots of water. It cleans well without film or frangrance. The bottle does leak a bit and the spout collects foam that dips too so be mindful of where you place it on the counter or sink side. The shape of the bottle makes placement a bit odd too. I can't place it in my sink basket with other soaps. I use Ms Meyers
