CYBEX Solution B-Fix Booster Seat in Volcano Black

Took a minute to find the latches install was super easy. Not bulky and enough room for other passengers.

The seat is nice and simple to assemble, easy to clean and works well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got our 6 year old the Cybex Solutions B-Fix high back booster for my SUV. It was very easy to put together and adjust to the perfect height with the adjustable headrest. It was fairly easy to install using the latch system but I would recommend putting the seat on the passenger side so that it is easier to tighten. There are some other high back booster seats that have an easier way to tighten and loosen the latch system but it isn’t too difficult. I like that it has a way to store the latch system away in the underside of the seat. My son finds this seat very comfortable and loves having a cup holder. I like how lightweight this seat is and it is easy to move from car to car. Safety is always the number one priority when it comes to picking a car seat which is why my favorite thing about this seat is the great side impact protection that this seat provides. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this booster from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and the timing was impeccable! We were using a newer booster from a competitor but it was so wide that my daughter had to scoot the booster away from the buckle receiver in order to buckle. Huge pain point! The Cybex B-Fix booster has a narrow enough seat base that she can buckle easily with the seat in place. However, the high back gets wider toward the top so she is super comfortable and can sleep well on longer car rides! This booster is staying put!

She LOVES this seat. She loves using the “big kid” straps as well as being able to safely bend forward if need be. She also loves that her chair can easily be moved from one car to the other making rides with her grandparents so much easier. As the parent, I loved the high back on the seat, I felt like it continues to offer support and protection for the upper chest and head in the event of a collision. The carseat is extremely light and was easy to move between vehicles; which I loved. I also loved the fact that it attaches with the LATCH system which I feel creates an extra level of safety. The only challenges I had with this car seat is that in my Chevy traverse, it was placed in a captains chair that has a very rigid seat belt and it is a challenge to clasp the belt because the angle of the booster with the angle of the captain seat; it does close but it takes a bit of finesse and is not as quick as I would like it to be. We also tested the black booster seat in the middle of summer in AZ, so it is very toasty when you first get into the car. All in all though, I am super happy with this booster seat and look forward to using it for the foreseeable future.

I like how lightweight it is and the latch system makes it so easy to move between vehicles (Mazda 6 Hatchback and a Honda Accord). My 6 year old loves it and says it is the most comfy seat she has ever had. I'm so glad I got the opportunity to try this out through the Steller Product Testing Panel!

I was pleasantly surprised by the CYBEX Solution B-Fix Booster Seat as I was not familiar with the brand. The booster felt well made, yet lightweight and easy to move, which was a big plus because my husband works at a car lot and switches cars a lot. I liked the extra layer of padding in high-back, feeling it gave my child a bit more protection for her upper body. I did have a bit of trouble attaching the included cup holder. The instructions weren’t clear to me, but once I figured it out, it was simple. It is removable and has the option to switch easily between the sides of the booster. Overall, I am very happy with the booster and my child enjoys riding in it, so I call it a win and recommend the seat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the design of the high-back booster, it gives the much needed space a growing child needs. It was sleek and interesting looking. I was a little turned off by the wings at the top. I felt it was not necessary to have them, and that they took up space I needed for my vehicle. I liked the black color and the splash of red on the sides made the seat pop. The cup holder was easy to install and a perfect addition to the seat. My favorite part was the head rest that adjusted to my child's height. It was easy to pull and set in place. It is so lightweight. I was so shocked by how easy it was to carry because I usually have trouble moving car seats because of their weight. I just used one hand to carry it around. It was easy to set-up in the car using the seat belt. I felt the seat was secure and stable. My son was too excited to try it out and smiled the entire time.
