We are so happy to have purchased this and thank the other reviewers for your feedback. We have had various different brands, and ALL become moldy, even with filters installed and regular cleaning, when cleaning was possible. This humidifier is a JOY, as it includes the light and sound machine. It really replaces three separate appliances for us. We are careful with the tank, as suggested, because it is light plastic and could crack easily. It is easy to fill, to turn on and off, and the sounds included are just the right type and the three volume options are good for us. We have not tried the scented oil pack included, but appreciate the sample that it came with. We highly recommend this over any other brand, and would even suggest it as a gift option. L.
I seriously hate this humidifier. The only redeeming quality is that it's easy to clean, thus the two stars, but mine will only function with a minimal amount of water so I'm constantly having to refill it and ultimately don't even use it anymore because it just frustrates me! Maybe I was unlucky and received a defective one because there are so many favorable reviews, but I personally would not recommend this specific product.

Love this humidifier and it works great, but the sound gave out at 2 years.
Worst humidifier ever. You fill it from the top instead of removing the reservoir and filling it from the bottom. Because of that, there’s a mechanism in the base to regulate how much water is in the base. Too bad the mechanism doesn’t work and turns the humidifier off entirely. Not only that, it was hot to the touch. Considering I bought this for my baby’s room, there’s no way this is safe for a child. Both from a leaking perspective and from an overheating perspective. Waste of money.

What a shame! I purchased two humidifiers. They sent me returned products! Seal is broken, humidifiers stuffed in the box. One has dried yellow water spots on the top of box. Wasted my time waiting for the items to arrive, now I'll have to waste my gas to return in the store if not I will have to wait forever for refund.
I especially like not have to unscrew a lid to fill with water.

I have purchased three of these humidifiers over the last year because I really liked the top-fill and nightlight aspect. However, they have each broken within a few weeks of use. The base is very sensitive to getting water in the wrong spot, after which the electronics stop working. This makes it almost impossible to clean and is a design flaw when the base is typically filled with water when in operation.
This is the best humidifier I have ever had, it is great that it fills from the top. I love the grey color, and how it makes the colored lights look slightly subdued.

We have not used the sound machine part of it much, but the humidifier and night light with changing colors are great. We keep the changing light on most of the night so it's easier to get up and maneuver for night feedings.

Very thoughtful design that makes it very easy to fill the water tank and nice looking also. Silent operation unless you activate the sound machine for a relaxing sleep along with the light that changes color. I am very pleased with this machine.
