Crane 0.5-Gallon Droplet Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier in Clear/White

I literally can’t figure out how to remove the tank from the base without spilling water everywhere. Is there a button I’m missing? I’m having to just yank the two pieces apart and hope for the best. Works great when it’s operating, but man oh man it’s a mess to refill.

Bought as Christmas gift for mom, she LOVES this unit… super quiet and was exactly what she was looking for!

I wonder if Crane will print this low review. I followed all the directions carefully. The green light goes on, but no mist comes out of the top. I've emptied it 3 times & refilled & tried again & again. No mist. Fresh out of the box. HUGE disappointment. Will try to return. I question all the 4-5 star reviews.

The water tank has a poor fit. It will either suck so tight I cannot separate it to refill or leaks mist around base if I do not push it down with pressure. The plastic is of lesser quality compared to the gallon humidifier I bought a few years ago. Disappointing to see a good product lose its quality.

Even following the directions to empty daily and disinfect weekly, it’s tough to keep clean enough to prevent any mold—especially if it’s something you’re using on a daily basis because your baby is sick. There are a lot of small crevices that make it hard to clean or even wipe dry. I’ll be purchasing something else that works better for our needs and won’t grow mold so easily. Otherwise, it works fine.

This stopped working after about 4 months of use. We also only used it a few nights a week. Very disappointing

Love this Humidifier! Use one in my bedroom and also my kids bedroom. The Mist is great and even relaxing. Have had mine for 2 years and still works great! I do empty the water every morning and dry it.

Works well EXCEPT is not easy to clean as advertised. Mildew and mold accumulate in every crevice even when cleaned weekly and with the Crane anti-mildew stick in the tank. Soo frustrating. Spend your money on a Honeywell with a filter.
