Contours® Cocoon 5-in-1 Baby Carrier in Black

This is the best thing ever!!! I am a plus size girl (XXL) with very large boobs, 38J to be exact. I am a foster mother and the babies and kids that I take in have severe attachment issues and always need to be carried. I have tried about 6 different carriers, but none have worked. My babies can never fit comfortably in a carrier because of my boobs and they always ends up crying. I tried the wrap carriers, ergobaby, Lille, baby Tula, ring slings, etc. noting worked. I was about to give up, but then I found this carrier and I am in love! It is a perfect mix between a structured carrier and a wrap carrier. It is very lightweight for the California summers, but I can keep my baby warm during the winter with a blanket thrown over. It’s not complicated at all and it comes with easy to understand instructions with pictures. It fits newborns all the way up to 3 year olds. Seriously this thing is amazing and it isn’t even that expensive. You need to buy this one!!!

I’ve been using this cocoon since my son was about a month old, and he’s always falling asleep in it. Love that it’s a hybrid of a wrap and a carrier, and it’s very breathable yet sturdy and comfy to baby. I have two other popular brand carriers that almost feel like complicated contraptions compared to this being so simple to put on. Very good material and holds baby’s head and neck. Love that baby stays securely in place and doesn’t “drop.” It’s surprisingly well built.

Upon receiving the carrier, I was very impressed with the quality of the carrier, The fabric is strong but very lightweight in comparison to other baby carriers I have used. The waist support strap in very comfortable with the additional padding and it was nice to have the various sizing for my husband to use the carrier as well. I did struggle with the long straps to wrap my daughter who it under four months, especially if I didn't have a mirror to see how I was wrapping her in (facing me or facing directly out). It was much easier to use with my older daughter (2 1/2), as she was able to hold on to me when using the carrier. The only reason I gave this 4 out of 5 stars is due to the fact that I struggled with the straps to secure my infant but did not have the same issue with my older children. Overall, I was very impressed with the carrier and feel that it is a great option.

I received the Lunar Grey Contours Cocoon Hybrid Buckle-Tie 5-in-1 Baby Carrier and I am absolutely amazed at the ease of use with this carrier. I was able to safely and easily get my 5-month-old into this carrier without assistance from my husband which was a big plus since he is not always home. I used the carrier while getting some household chores done and baby was fit snuggly and happily for hours. I love that the back was high enough to support my baby's head/neck without the need for my hands as a secondary back up.... hands free yay! I love the soft and sturdy material which was non-irritating to both mine and my baby's skin. The material is also pretty easy to clean with a washcloth and some soap/water mixture. I am grateful for the chance to try this product because it is so much better than the current carrier I was using and received for my baby shower gift.

We had our son in September, and as much as possible in a COVID world, this product has come in as handy as possible. This product is nice, simple, and safe. It mixes the simplicity of a wrap, with the safety of a carrier. Wraps often irk me because they cost $50 and it just a long swab of fabric. This is a product that has had thought and effort put into it. Thank goodness.

I was given this amazing Contour Cocoon Buckle-Tie baby carrier free for my honest opinion. I'm absolutely in love with this! It's made of a soft knit fabric that gives total comfort. It has air vents that also privides much comfort. It has 5 carrying positiions. Has a padded waistband with a buckle that that takes the weight off my shoulders. I love the 4 storage pockets that carry what I need. The padded shoulder straps to give me extra comfort. Head support is built in to protect my baby. This amazing design is height adjustable. My baby LOVES being carried in this. Especially since it's breast feeding friendly! This is our most used baby item. Good thing it's machine washable ;)

I was excited to get the opportunity to try the Contours Cocoon for free in exchange for my review. I have tried many different styles of carriers with my four kids. The Contours Cocoon is a really unique combination of a Mei Dai style carrier and a soft-structured carrier. It combined many of my favorite features of each style of carrier. Pros: 1. Comfortable, easy to adjust shoulder straps. 2. The buckle waist makes it quick and easy to get a good fit. It’s also easy to adjust if you have more than one person who will be wearing the carrier. 3. So many pockets! I love having a place for my keys. 4. No infant insert needed. 5. Great price point. Cons: 1. It takes some practice to get a good fit with the shoulder straps. It really helped me to practice in front of the mirror. 2. The material felt a little bit stiff in the beginning. Like most carriers, I’m sure it will get softer with time. Overall, I was really impressed with the Contours Cocoon. It’s a great carrier at a great price.

I love this carrier. My baby is now 5 months old, and I've been using it since she was a newborn. Very easy to get her in and out and to tie it around me. I'm plus-size (size 18-22, depending on the brand) and it fits me. There's still a tiny bit of wiggle room to expand at the waist, and the ties fit comfortably around me. It does get a little hot because of the fabric, but I do like the vents. All in all, I'm a fan!
