I was so happy to finally find a cup that doesn’t leak! However, this doesn’t matter if it loses suction and becomes completely unusable. My son had only used this cup a couple of times before it suddenly lost suction. When I examined the spout, I discovered that it was completely ripped! What a piece of junk. A total waste of money. I am very disappointed.

Can somebody please advise how the mechanics around the water bottle work? We’ve followed the assembly instructions to the tee and yet none of us can suck any water out

I saw many people here having the same issue - my daughter can’t drink any water out from this bottle and it’s brand new! I even tried myself, nothing comes out from the straw. This product is obviously faulty and shouldn’t be on the market

I loved this bottle when my daughter first started using it. It doesn't leak and I love the autospout. Unfortunately after using this product for a while, the straw will no longer stay in the lid. She will take one or two sips and then the straw comes out. Sadly, I'm going to have to throw it out.

I wish I had rated this sooner. I already threw the bottle away. I really like the auto spout design and how the spout is fully covered so it does not get dirty. Because our first one got mold inside the spout. So, I decided to get this one. However, it did not work as well. It stopped working after a month. The straw won't stay put and once it stay, we couldn't suck up the water. So, we ended up buying the owl pattern and threw this one away. Then we bought the owl pattern, but it got molded again after less than 6 months. So, we bought 2 more contigo autospout. I'm hoping that it lasts longer and does not mold easily. I'm hoping they come up with the spout that can be unassembled so we can thoroughly wash the spout. It is disgusting to think your kid is drinking molded water.

My two kids loved these bottles. I loved this bottles. Until they got moldy and I could not wash them I did not want to believe it because I only use them for water so was hoping it would not happen to us. Now I have 4 of these with the same issue.

Purchase two contigos for my 18month old. Thought they’d by perfect, but full of mold in the mouthpiece. Pulled the straw contraption out to partly clean the mold I could reach, and now I can’t get it back together to work properly. Still mold in the unreachable mouth piece. Was hoping for better with this brand!

I bought this water bottle and expected it to work. I followed all the directions. No matter what air is mostly what comes out of the straw. Now I notice many reviews note this problem. This is a waste of money and a disappointment from a good company. I regret not keeping the packaging and receipt because I would return it. I will NEVER buy a Contigo product again. Save your money. Do NOT buy this product.
