Chicco Polly® Space-Saving Fold Highchair in Black

My granddaughter is a year old now and still can't reach the tray properly to experience feeding herself. I have tried rolling up a towel to make a little booster for her, but that huge nodule sticking out from the bottom of the tray (which I know has to be there) keeps it from helping. This high chair should also have the wheels in the back instead of the front to make it easier to move around.

The high chair is very sturdy and folds to save space, but it is heavier and more awkward than I had hoped, and the tray is so big that it is not practical to take it to a restaurant or any place where space is limited.

We received this from our registry, so we are grateful for that. Pros: it’s easy to assemble 2) easy to clean 3) it’s height is convertible, the back rest is convertible also, and the feeding tray is stow and go! Cons: very poor build quality in that the entire chair is very shaky. It has far too much play at the connecting points between the chair and the upper legs, and the upper legs and the lower legs segments. Lastly, it’s supposed to be an easily mobile unit but the wheel design makes it almost impossible to move from one place to another comfortably. When closed the wheel section disengages the ground so it’s impossible to tilt it and roll it. You have to do that when it is in its open position which is super challenging and awkward even for a dad that is used to lifting heavy things. It’s just not a great mobile design. As a result I usually just end up picking it up and hauling it to where I need to put it instead of trying to roll it. I’d try and get a hands on with this unit before a purchase or putting on your registry.

Hardest chair to move/scoot around!!!!!!! Incredibly annoying! Still reclines in its most upright position, making my toddler have to sit forward…(can’t imagine having to feed a baby in this). 1 star for being folding up so compactly. Other than, absolutely can’t stand this thing!

Great highchair. It's easy to use and keep clean. Looks very comfortable for the baby and it folds fairly compactly when it needs to be stashed out of the way.

I babysit and have several different highchairs. This is by far the best highchair!

It looks cute, I like the colors but this is my least favorite baby gear item. The wheels are awful, they barely roll making it so hard to maneuver if I have the baby in my arms-other high chairs roll so much easier. The material is only easily wipeable if you wipe the food as soon as it drops, if not it sticks and needs to be scrubbed off. The texture of the material holds everything. There are so many places for the food to drop that’s hard to clean it right away. I have to take the tray and seat off daily to clean it because food gets stuck everywhere. I’m about the throw it out and start over with a new high chair.

I bought this chair based on the sleek look, adjustability/folding function, and easy-to-clean padding. I love my other Chicco products and had no doubts! However, after using it with my son for months (he is now 11MO), I am still disappointed. From the start of solids at around 5 months, the tray was much too high for him. For reference, it was nearly level with his armpits. Even as he ages, this is still an issue. Secondly, the seat position when it is all the way upright, still has a slight slant/recline, resulting in him having to lean forward. Lastly, I noticed there was another review that mentioned this chair is difficult to slide/move, and I agree. Even when baby is not in the chair, it does not easily scoot, and needs to be picked up to move.
