Love the ease of the base. Despite me slipping my baby into the base multiple times a day, it’s so easy and simple. Clicks right in and feels secure. Have been using it since my son was born and he’s now 5 months old, we drop off and pick up my oldest at school daily so getting up early in the morning and just clicking him in is so perfect. One leas worry.

We have 2 of these for our Twins, one in black one in grey/black. The grey/black is a different type of material and is starting to have piling on it which is aggrevating for the price of the car seat. The black seat is fine. The sunshade is nice bc its huge, however it gets stuck on the carry handle so you have to push the shade under the handle to get it extended fully. You can only do this when youre not using the carry handle. Kind of a pain and defeats the purpose when you're trying to carry your baby outside in full sun. car seat installs easily and securely with the level indicator which I prefer. The keyfit 35 does NOT attach to the contours strollers with the chicco keyfit adapter. It will keep the car seats from tipping backwards, but they don't latch onto the adapter so push forward easily. I still recommend the carseat, the safety reviews were correct in my opinion. There is also a lot of padding that made my husband and I more comfortable with this model rather than the keyfit 30.

We bought two of these seats when we were expecting our twins. After 6 months of use, we still love them. Pros: easy to use, appears comfortable for baby, high weight & height limits our son is tall and we are so glad we purchased these, fabric wipes clean pretty easily. Cons: taking it apart to wash after a blowout is pretty intensive, there are no buckle keepers to hold the harness back while putting baby in the seat, pretty heavy…. Especially since we have twins and have to carry two. Overall we would still recommend!

Buyer be ware, I don't get how they sell this without making an adapter that can be used for the Contours Stroller? the Adapters being sold can only fit the older model car seat KeyFit 30.

Perfect car seat for our 6lb newborn!

We received a new car seat in the mail, unopened. Upon inspection, one the levels on the car seat base was chipping. Paint chips were everywhere after you touched the level. After I exchanged to the store, I received a second box. This new box had the exact same issue, paint chipping off of one of the levels. Clearly a manufacturing defect, perhaps due to a faulty part. The 3rd car seat from the store did not have this issue and we went home with that one. Clearly a safety issue. Paint chips and babies not a good combination. Poor quality control.

Absolutely love the head support this seat added for our tiny baby. She’s comfortable, safe, and we have zero complaints!

I purchased this seat right after it was back in stock. I got it today and the seat manufactured date was Sept. 2020 a year ago this seat was made. Yes I understand it lasts 6 years nothing against the seat but come on why are they sending out seats with dates this far back! I contacted BuyBuy Baby and they told me that Chicco made a lot of seats during that time frame so what chicco sends them these seats that been sitting for over a year? I’m not sure. I’m disappointed that I paid the normal amount on a seat that now has 5 years of life left. Granted a child wouldn’t use the seat for that long but still. I recommend this brand to everyone as it is top rated. Do I recommend buying a seat online no because you don’t no the date the seat is manufactured in.
