My 3 month old daughter had a horrible eczema flair up and after trying several other products with no luck and a huge waste of money. I decided to try this multipurpose ointment after reading numerous reviews about how it worked for other little ones with eczema issues. All I can say is WOW! After 48 hours and applying the oniment at least 3 times a day her skin is back to being baby soft and the eczema has been relieved.
Yes, this stuff lasts a long time because a little goes a long way. With that in mind I have been using this product for 8 years, and when I purchase I purchase 2 at a time. I recently ran out about 1 month ago, went to place a new order only to find out the label was different; thinking oh they just changed the label. To my surprise, once I opened it to find out that the ointment is NOT the same!!! I was devastated! The new formula is not new and improved, it’s less rich and smells terrible. The old formula’s moisture lasted for my baby for at least 12 or more hours. The new one has to be reapplied after 3 hours. The consistency for the new one is too smooth. I like the fact that the old one actually had the Shea seeds you could see and feel. The seeds actually added to the greatness. The old formula has a more natural smell like shea butter and frankincense, but the new one smells artificial. Please I’m begging Burt’s Bees to revert the formula back. I’m very dissatisfied with the new multipurpose ointment.

I have enjoyed many products from Burt's Bees from chapstick and lipstick to moisturizer and ointment. I adore all products. They are effective and more importantly for me, natural ingredients. Bee honey provides so much help in so many different fields. Since I prefer pine odor versus sweet, it's my only hesitation in giving a 5 star. It's so mild, however, I can still use it. Thank you, Burt and company

This stuff is excellent. Oh, and full disclosure, I haven’t used this on a baby. I use it on my elbows, knees, ankles daily and keeps them super soft. It’s great a for a peeling sunburn too. Bonus! It smells like a subtle grape soda. Not an overpowering scent, just a mild distant pleasant smell. Love it.

This by far is my favorite product for my baby and myself. Baby scratches herself… bam! This helps heal the scratch quickly. Mama got a new tattoo… bam! Great ointment for tattoos. And the list could go on.

Apologizing to customers who detest the new formula doesn’t cut it. We want you to admit your mistake and rectify it by re-introducing the original formula. I adored it and used it everyday.

I keep seeing a lot of reviews about the formula change but this works amazing on my babies eczema. We have gotten creams from the doctor (including steroids) that don’t work anywhere near as well and as fast as this does. My babies skin feels amazing!

I have used your multipurpose healing ointment for years. Now that you have added 'natural fragrance' I can no longer use it for my kid's sensitive skin. These fragrances are notorious for causing allergic reactions and for containing carcinogens. Please create a fragrance-free version.

Very good product it does not sting when my 6-month-old has severe eczema flare ups. It will have a true balm texture at colder temps with warmer temps it starts to become more of a thick oil.
