Beautiful durable breathable muslin blankets with the perfect amount of stretch. It has a nice stretch and is soft. We feel comfortable wrapping our baby in this and not worrying about over-heating. We are actually used to smaller blankets for swaddling, so we fold in two perpendicular edges a quarter way in to make it into a smaller square and it works perfectly. We would highly recommend it.

I have used all three of these receiving blankets since the first day I brought my son home. They go everywhere with him, I use it as a blanket when he is in his carseat, in the bassinet stroller when we walk him, and lastly just to wrap him and calm him in my arms before nap time. Just be aware they will shrink so wash in cool or warm water and only put them in the dryer when almost dry, not wet.

Very cute pattern but not a soft material. I thought it would soften after a few washes but they are still kind of scratchy. I prefer other swaddles that were gifted to me.
