For the time period used - this product is absolutely wonderful! We use it for everything. Especially comes in handy while adults are having dinner and can place him directly on the dinner table and he can play and watch us eat. He absolutely loves it and we do too! It does have its drawbacks. It is a sturdy foam so it should be used when you can keep an eye on your child. Our baby started holding head up in our arms so we started using it early. You can use it while not fully able to hold its head up. Just have some head support and it can help with the rest. I feel like most kids gain weight in their legs first. but thats where the product has the smallest holes. at 3 1/2 months he's starting to stick in the leg holes (barely but still noticeable). For such a small window of opportunity, especially when you don't know how your babies head control is - it may not be worth the purchase price. We absolutely LOVED every second we could put him in it and he did too. If your baby has decent head control at a young age I would 100% without a doubt absolutely recommend it to you. It's perfect. However, if not then it might not be worth it. Great as a registry gift or hand me down but don't know if its worth price for the amount of time you get to use it.
The strap is in the way and the leg holes are too small! My baby, who is small and only in the 20th percentile, does not fit well in this at all. Her thighs get stuck in the leg holes. (I started trying to use this at 4 months old when she could hold her head up well and did well with a supported sit...she's now 6, and has definitely outgrown it.) We went with a Fisher Price Sit Me Up frog seat instead that works great! This was such a waste of (a lot) of money...don't bother!

This is one of the best seats I bought my grandson. When it was too little for a high chair and just started sitting up, this was perfect. The foam construction is nice and with the security belts makes it a safe seat when used as directed. We used it sitting on the floor to feed or when he needed a free hand for a few.

I love the Bumbo. I had one with my first baby 7 years ago and knew I had to get another. It works great to sit my daughter in while I do her hair!
Got the product for the baby shower. By the time the baby was of age to sit in it (3 months old, 15 lbs) - the baby does not fit and now I cannot return it

We really love our Bumbo Chair. It is so stable and easy. Our daughter has been using it for awhile now and is 9 months old and very tall. As much as she might try to rock back and forth the chair doesn’t even start to tip or move at all . I would highly recommended this for its ease. We use ours on the kitchen counter and it’s much nicer than a high chair for first feedings

The idea is great if it would have the leg openings made somehow with materials which expanded as the baby grew. Babies grow at different levels. This wouldn’t be a good fit for a little chubby infant.,
We purchased this for our 3 month old to help with supported sitting. When trying to put him in this seat it was very awkward. His legs barely fit through the holes. The angle he was in really squished his stomach which caused him to spit up every time we put him in it. Would not recommend.

Great product but could only use it for a short window of time. As my grandson gained weight, we could not put him in the Bumbo because the leg openings were too small making it difficult to get him in and out. It would be perfect if they could make an adjustment to the design.
