Bubula™ Jr. Steel Diaper Pail in Grey

started out happy with this and then realized that it was super smelly and was starting to mold on the inside of the lid and bottom of the can. I contacted the company (twice) and received a replacement. It was fine for a bit and then the mold came back.

We have used it for about a year and a half and are definitely getting rid of it ASAP. Opening the pail brings the most horrid of smells even when there are no diapers in it. Washing it and wiping it down doesn’t help the smell. Putting an air freshener inside doesn’t help. Spraying it with febreeze doesn’t help.

It's the best pail we have used. Using it on my second child (3 month old) so not too stinky on diapers yet but we did have to use it when my toddler had an accident and it surprisingly kept the smell in. Do keep in mind that we put any #2 diapers in an arm & hammer bag first and then drop it in the pail and I wipe it clean every time we take out the bag which is about every 2-3 days. A stink waft does come out if you leave the opening open too long and you definitely have to hold your nose when changing bags. The smell won't linger though and I can't smell it at all any other time. We had the diaper genie for our first child and that thing stunk at all times. This is way better than that.

Like the size of this pail as others were just too large for our space. One complaint is the label sticker on the front of the pail is impossible to remove. Part of the appeal of this pail was that it was plain metal and the residue of the sticker is massive and simply wont come off. Now dust and dog hair will decorate the pail.

For our baby registry, we registered for both the Bubula (to keep in the nursery) and the Bubula Jr (to keep on the main level, wanted to just register for two regular Bubulas but registered this way instead). We are super disappointed with the Junior. The regular Bubula is amazing and far better than any other diaper pail. However the Junior, as soon as you open in the smell takes over the whole room. And we even bought air fresheners for it and that did not work either. I wish the junior was just a smaller version of the regular but the design is totally different.

It costs more than the diaper genie which doesn’t make sense - this diaper pail doesn’t have a continuous bag so you have to change the bag more frequently. Not worth it. We returned and got a diaper genie

I have this downstairs and the main Bubula upstairs. The Jr. traps the smell very well and works great in the downstairs setup where I needed something small and unobtrusive. It holds a lot of diapers and keeps the smell from spreading around the whole room. Very happy with this trash can.
