Brondell® O2+ Source HEPA Air Purifier in Black

Exactly what I was looking for improving air quality. My wife and I suffer from allergies and asthma...and this definitely helps.

I did a lot of research and even spoke to a very nice guy at the manufacturer before I decided to get this air purifier. I am really glad I got this one, as it has some really nice features. I've got it on automatic, and 5 minutes after I turn off the lights in my bedroom, it goes to sleep. I have a friend with a different brand, and she has to turn her's off manually, often forgetting and having to get out of bed to do it. It's very quiet and I love the colors which tell you how dirty the air is. Mine is often on blue, which is the best color. It seems to respond to my stirring up the air in the room, so I know it's working. Even my dog seems to like it, cause I've noticed that she's sleeping near it in her bed in the bedroom more often.

My 9-yr-old son developed allergies this year, and is especially sensitive to dust and pollen...to the extent that he would sneeze uncontrollably and have pouring eyes all the time, even in his own bedroom. My pediatrician recommended that we get a high-end air purifier that cleaned the air of allergens - and after doing some research I landed on the Source and bought two - one for his bedroom and one for the living/dining room. Since we've started using them you'd never know how bad his allergies are - there's virtually no sneezing and he rarely has to take medication. It's literally changed his life. If you suffer from airborne allergies, I couldn't recommend this air purifier more highly.
