Britax® Grow With You™ ClickTight+ Harness-2-Booster Car Seat in Green Ombre

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the only Britax seat with 5-point that I have seen or used, and I was very impressed with the high quality of the fabric of the seat and webbing compared to seats I've used in the past, the sturdiness of the construction, and the thoughtful design choices such as the multiple cup holders, fabric cover for the buckle part of the harness, the nicely placed and shaped arm rests, and the rubber sliders behind the chest clips. All these are designed MUCH more nicely than any other brand seats I've used in the past. There were trade-offs, though. I found this much more difficult to install than I anticipated, perhaps because I'm used to a different brand, but once I finally got it installed it is rock-solid against the seat which is awesome. I found the harness surprisingly difficult to adjust, and for a while I needed to help my six year-old buckle and unbuckle, which I hadn't had to do in years. The webbing of the straps and the adjusting has eased up a little over a couple weeks of wear and my daughter is used to operating it now, though. The height adjustment was also difficult to use, I had to read the manual to make sure I was doing it right because even with both hands the adjustment button thing was so hard to press! That may also loosen up with time, but I so rarely have to adjust it I kind of doubt it. The seat I replaced when I got this one was designed to be a narrow seat so I'm sure I noticed the difference even more so than I might have, but this seat is WIDE and HEAVY. In my case this is totally fine, I only need to put two carseats in the back bench of my SUV, and it is nice for my daughter to have more room in this seat than her old one did, she looks much more comfortable back there. She is right on the border of needing to move up to the booster mode (with the adult lap belt) so we tried that out to see how it went, and its definitely a better choice than our previous seat. She feels very solid in this Britax seat and it keeps her in a good posture even without the extra harness restraint. She'll need help maneuvering the new buckle arrangement for a bit, but it's not too difficult to access the buckle and the arm rest design means the next time she gets in the car the seatbelt is easily reachable. I received this car seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but if I needed a second seat in this size I'd probably get another of these seats without even shopping around, it's obvious it is a very sturdy, well designed seat and we're very happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Brittax “Grow With You Booster” seat to review with my 4 1/2 year-old daughter. I consider myself to be somewhat of a car seat connoisseur, as I have tried many car seats in search of finding a car seat that fits all of our needs. I am mainly focused on safety for my child, however, I am also looking for something that is easy to install and is able to be cleaned easily. The Brittax “Grow With You” booster seat checks all of those boxes. First, my daughter was thrilled when she saw the booster seat. It looks like a “big girl seat” to her, but had the safety features that Mom approved of. it is important to me to continue using the harness for as long as possible, before transitioning to the vehicle belt. The structure of this car seat will definitely allow for a longer use of harness. The car seat that we received is a light purple color, andy daughter was immediately attracted to it. After reading the manual, I was able to install the car seat into my husband’s Toyota Tacoma with ease. I was able to install the car seat, and immediately felt as though it had been done appropriately on the first try. I really like the click to connect feature that was able to get the car seat very snug with little effort. We chose to put this car seat in my husband’s truck because his backseat is much more compact than in my van. The car seat and my daughter both ride comfortably and we are able to take the car seat in and out without a problem. Special thanks to Stellar reviews for sending the product for us to test. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Grow With You ClickTight Plus Harness-to-Booster Car Seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have an older version of the same seat in my car (Ford Escape) and love it so was very excited to get the updated model for my husband’s VW Jetta. I’ve had a few Britax Clicktight seats and really appreciate the simplicity of the install. I got the blue, which is very sleek looking. The fabric is smooth and comfortable regardless of temperature. It wipes clean easily but the cover is also easy to remove and wash if needed. It is surprising to me that so many car seats still do not have washable covers since this seems like a critical need! The seat is very simple to adjust and my 5yo daughter is very comfortable in it. There is a pad to keep the crotch buckle from pinching and shoulder pads to keep the straps from digging into her neck. It has two cup holders and two little cubbies behind them where I often find she’s stashed small toys or hair clips. As a mom, I am very appreciative of the high height/weight limits for harness mode as it allows us to keep our tall kid harnessed for much longer than similar seats. Even though she’s big enough ride in booster mode I feel better about keeping her in harness mode as long as we can. Even once we switch to booster mode this seat will last a very long time before she outgrows it. My only complaint is that this seat is VERY heavy. I would recommend seeking out something lighter if you plan to move from vehicle to vehicle frequently or travel with it but if you generally keep it installed without moving it much, this is a fantastic seat. My husband and I agree we both rate it 4.5 stars overall (minus 1/2 only due to the weight) and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a harness/booster seat with high height and weight limits. Our 5yo says it gets 5 stars!

Upon opening the product I immediately fell in love with the color! It was not a basic color that you see with other booster seats! I really liked the feeling of the fabric of the booster seat. It was soft, breathable and felt comfortable to my child. Installation was a breeze! All the anchors clipped in easily, arranging the seatbelt through the seat was easy as well. The removable cover was easy to take on and off and really is a great feature for easy clean ups! The straps were easy to adjust and fitting my son to the seat didn’t take long at all. He was so excited to sit down and try it out he wanted to get buckled in as soon as I took it out of the box! The double cup holder was the best bonus! This product was amazing and convenient in so many ways! Can’t wait to get plenty of good use out of it.

The car seat out of the box looks impressive. The fabric, and solid surfaces look nice and feel like quality materials. I appreciate the neutral colors. My son really liked the armrests as it made him ‘feel like a big kid’! The car seat did not need any adjustments out of the box to fit my child. When I did make some height adjustments to figure out how to do it, I did not feel like it was very different than other car seats we have had in the past. I know it sounds silly, but my favorite feature about the car seat is the design of the cup and snack holders on each side on the base of the unit itself. The cup holders on the Britax Grow With You CLICKTIGHT PLUS seem to be at a more level angle which will hopefully prevent some spilling. There is a hard plastic surface around the cup and snack holder which will hopefully result in more of a wipe clean, and not a machine wash. The instructions and installation looked a lot more complicated than they actually were. The seat was secured properly and tightened in place in about 15 minutes from unboxing. One of my biggest complaints about car seats in general is that you cannot remove the fabric to machine wash and clean. When the time comes to clean this car seat, I am looking forward to the fact that the cover is machine washable as per the instructions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Britax Grow With You ClickTight Plus Harness-to-Booster Car Seat is quick and easy to install, well made and super comfortable for my little one. I honestly think that the easy install is my favorite thing about this seat. After just a couple of minutes the seat was installed and ready to go. No hair pulling or loss of sanity required. It is also very easy to adjust the seat to fit my kid, height wise. Once everything has clicked into place, I felt really safe knowing that my child is secure in their seat. This is not a lightweight piece (my one con with the seat. I won’t be taking it in and out), and it feels really safe, secure and sturdy in the backseat. It also looks great too! I really like the design and the colors used. The fabrics feel soft and comfortable and I love that if there are any spills in the car seat, I can just take the covers off, throw them in the washer and pop them back on. Mama ain’t got time for a dirty car seat! My kid also LOVES the cup/snack holders, she feels so grown up being able to have her water right next to her. (And I love not having to constantly hand it back to her when I am driving.) Overall, this booster has quickly become a favorite and will provide our child a safe and comfortable ride for years to come. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both my husband and I give this car seat a solid 4 stars with a star deducted for the wider profile and somewhat inconvenient harness/strap push-release button. The width of this car seat will make it difficult to seat more than 2 passengers in the back seat of smaller vehicles (see attached pictures of the car seat installed in our smallest car - a Toyota Corolla). We keep our kids in a 5 point harness car seat for as long as possible, so it’s important the seat is comfy for the kiddos using it! Our 5 year old is 45 lbs and loves this car seat. It was easy to adjust the seat to fit his size. When I asked him, he gave it 5 stars for comfort and the multiple built-in cup holders and prefers it to his other car seat. As parents, we love the steel frame, safety rating, and removable, washable fabric cover. We also like that the adjustable back will be able to accommodate taller kids after converting to a booster seat. My husband found it fairly easy to install, but did have to carefully consult the manual a few times. Overall, this is a solid car seat choice as long as you’re not trying to fit multiple car seats in a smaller vehicle. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure how different or easier the Clicktight system would be - considering it seemed super similar to how we attach our old seat. I couldn't have been more wrong. Not only was it easy to install, my husband and I didn't feel like we were trying to be Gumby - twisting our hands and arms in every which way to get the seatbelt into the proper position. Not only did we easily get the seatbelt into position - but the security of this seat is top notch. There is absolutely no wiggle room - that carseat is tightly installed with under 2 minutes of work and minimal effort. We were beyond impressed with how secure the seat was. The seat was easy to set up inside of our house before installing it in the car. I got the height, shoulders, and buckle adjusted into the proper positions quickly. Our son loves having separate cupholders and arm rests, also with the way the seat is designed, there is more space for him to sit "crisscross applesauce" which also made him happy. I love the plastic guards around the chest clip - gives me a sense of security about the placement of the chest clip. When loosening and tightening the shoulder straps, I am able to do all of this from the pull cord in the front - a huge improvement from our old seat which I needed to reach my arm behind the chair to get a secure fit.
