Britax® Boulevard ClickTight™ Convertible Car Seat in Circa

We bought this for vacation because we were planning on taking ride shares and needed a quick install car seat. It’s become our everyday car seat. The price seemed high but let me tell you it IS WORTH EVERY PENNY!! Am I the only one who’s lost their mind trying to hook up other seats to the little hooks hidden in the black hole of the seat cushions??? Never again! This seat is so easy to buckle and once you snap the seat down, it won’t budge an inch. The cushion is amazing for little ones and it grows with them as well. It is HEAVY so be prepared if you plan on traveling with it like we did. You won’t be disappointed!

Fourche infant carreau i own... and definetely the easiest one to use. Can be switched between cars very fast and remaillage super safe.

I bought this carseat when my daughter outgrew her infant carseat. I have been extremely pleased with this purchase. The click-tight feature is well worth the money and makes transferring the carseat stress-free--so much so that I could do it in the airport pick-up line in just a few minutes! It seriously is perfectly tight and secure, every time. The carseat feels sturdy and I love the ARB option. The back of the carseat appears sleek as the structure is covered by a plastic mold.

We have been very happy with this car seat. Our son seems comfortable in it and the seat is easy to use. We would consider buying another one in the future for another child.

This seat is sturdy and seems like a quality, safe, car seat. It our first Britax product and if this seat had a cup holder, I would purchase. Pros: 1. ClickTight system. I (apparently) have been strapping my children into their car seats way too tight. The audible click when the harness is appropriately tight is a wonderful feature. I'm sure my daughter appreciates this! It is very nice that the seat locks into place on top of the seatbelt and is very secure. Definitely more secure than just using a seatbelt or LATCH anchors. 2. Very soft material 3. Extra padding The car seat that this has replaced (NOT Britax) digs into my daughter's belly at the harness buckle. We installed an aftermarket pad toward a barrier between, but it did next to nothing. This Britax Boulevard seat, however, has diligently solved that problem. There is a nearly 1/2" thick and soft pad that is positioned behind the buckle. WONDERFUL! The shoulder pads (labled as high-impact absorbing) are a nice quality as well. They are recommended for use with forward facing seats, optional for smaller children that are still rear facing. 4. I love that it does not contain added flame-retardant chemicals. 5. The seat itself looks nice. It appears comfortable. My daughter says it's more comfortable than her last seat, but that brings me to the cons. Cons: 1. NO CUP HOLDER We have become accustomed to this feature on our last seat and may honestly be a deal breaker. It did not take me very long to get tired of fetching a sippy cup or snacks. 2. Leg room My daughter can't sit with her feet in the seat. She likes the option to do that if she's going to be in it for a while. I wish this came with some sort of leg extention/support. 3. Support padding Our last seat had a lot of support/impact padding. This seat does not. There is only one thin pad between the structure and the child in both the back and bottom of the seat. My daughter says its comfy, but on a long car ride, I cannot imagine that sitting directly on a steel frame can feel great. (Our last seat had a plastic shell surrounding the seat- this does not.) It does, however have a deeper, more streamlined head support. Overall, my two favorite features on this seat are the serious crotch buckle padding and the deep head support/protection. The head support part (the part that adjusts the shoulder straps) is in a deep U shape. It is narrow and looks like it will prevent head drooping when the rare car seat nap happens. (It has not happened yet, so I am purely speculating) It looks like it would make a good headrest for a sleeping little person. We live in Florida and I do wish we would have had the opportunity to test a cool flow version of this seat. That seems like a fantastic option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were ready to move our 4 year old son to a forward facing seat, so it was perfect timing that I was given this convertible car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I usually buy black/gray combos for car seats, but I received the blue contour, which is a nice change from the dark seats. I will say that it's more blue than it is showing on my computer screen (I included a picture of it in the sunlight for you to see). I also love that there's no added flame-retardant chemicals - that's important to me with such young kids. Installation was really easy. The ClickTight technology is amazing! I normally have my wife sit in the car seat to try and get the seat belt tight, and it's still never as tight as I would like. The ClickTight technology, however, made for a perfect installation - the seat does not move at all. I would recommend the car seat just based upon this alone, it is absolutely my favorite feature. The buckles are easy to use. I love that the button to loosen the straps isn't hidden under fabric, so it's easy to use. The washable covers are great! I know we'll be using that feature, as my kids are messy! Overall, I'm really excited about this car seat. After our son's first voyage out in the car seat, we asked him how he liked it, and his response - "It's GREAT!!" I would definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I seriously love this thing. First off, it *is* bulky but for great reasons. I looked into the technology/safety testing and this car seat is one of the safest on the markets which is so important to me. I love that you can use it from 5 lbs +, it doesn’t seem like it would accommodate a baby that small but it totally does and can be used for years after as it is convertible. The fabrics on this are both easy to clean, washable, and also cushy feeling and comfy for baby. It’s also not treated with flame retardant chemicals which I appreciate as it’s hard to find car seats that are less chemically toxic. I like that it included the optional anchor for added safety. The level bar is great as well for easy visual confirmation of correct positioning. I looooove that it can be used both back/forward facing to get you through that transition. Even with all of the features, it still manages to look sleek and modern. The click tight system (my favorite part!) makes it so easy to install and it saves you the pain of having to manually tighten it with the seat belt. I’ve moved this to and from different cars several times! And despite its bigger size, I was able to install it in a sedan without any issue at all. The only potential negative about this car seat that I can foresee as I haven’t had experience with this yet would be traveling with it by plane as it is bulky and heavy. I’m sure it can be done but I’d be a little intimidated trying to go through the airport processes with this type of car seat. But that is a very small and workable con for how overall amazing this car seat it. It really gives me peace of mind knowing my baby is protected by some of the best safety technologies on the market and that it will continue to grow with him for years to come.
