I used a boppy pillow with 2 kids. I found it helpful with a new baby when nursing and my muscles were sore to help position the baby and keep them there while figuring out the process. Loved the boppy once good nursing habits were established to be able to be hand free, which a especially useful with my second baby when my toddler needed assistance. It is great for propping baby up to see around before they are able to hold their head. Handy as an extra support when they are learning to sit and great for a prop at tummy time, with supervision of course. I have 2, one in the nursery, one in the living room. This is a must for travel as well.

I was so excited to receive this at my baby shower. I have to be honest, I hated it. I had to continue to adjust it while nursing. It was a pain in the butt!

This is my best friend at 2,4,6AM when I’m exhausted and baby is fussy or hungry. It helps keep her balanced without putting all the work on my back and sleepy noodle arms. I wish I had bought it sooner.

Every time I give the boppy pillow to an expectant or new mom they are very excited because it not only gets used for breastfeeding but it also becomes a support pillow for baby in the future. There are a wide variety of decorative slipcovers to choose from which allows for color and design options.

Not as soft/cushiony as I had hoped but that's probably the point. I'm a FTM so haven't used it yet but the quality seems great, the covers fit nicely, can't wait for my son to be here and use it!

The manufacturers could have made the boppy with a water resistant/wipe clean casing, but they chose not to. So after two blowouts that went through the cover onto the pillow, we're buying a separate water resistant cover. Well played, boppy makers.
