We only had this chair for a few weeks and it immediately started to squeak. Instead of sending us a whole new chair they only sent the internal base frame not the bottom of the chair. Who wants to unscrew over 30 screws and then re-screw the new base frame on!!!? We spent over $800!!! After we complained they said to check out a YouTube tutorial video! Complete waste of money. Buy the lower end chairs at buy buy baby because spending this much money on a chair is a complete waste of money!

Don’t waste your money or time spent waiting for this to arrive. I understand lead times for everything these days are longer than “normal” but if you’re going to wait long for something, wait for something that will be worth it! Thought by the price of this chair we would be getting something very high in quality…. It has been the complete opposite. When we first brought this chair home there was a horrible grinding feeling and sound every time you rocked. Contacted the manufacturer and they send you a replacement base for you to install yourself. When we replaced you could tell the whole base was shifted to one side, hence the annoying grinding. Now we have the replacement base on and all it does is squeak when you rock! Worst purchase ever. Now we are stuck with an expensive chair that annoys us more than anything!

Please order this chair a year in advance of needing it. You won’t see if for at least 6 months and when you finally get it it’s going to be comfy while it lasts… but very creaky and will almost always wake up baby when you try and get up. Ugh such a waste of time.

Super comfortable, but squeaks horribly . Little tough to rock a baby to sleep when it sounds like a rat being murdered. And since I ordered it early, it was out of the return window when I realized it. Can’t believe I spent that much money on something so useless.

I loved this chair. It was wide and very comfy. But it is made so poorly. The chair was sitting at an angle the moment it was delivered. It didn’t bother me too much. Then, as I was sitting on the chair, I leaned over to the side and the arm rest broke. We tried to fix it and that how we found out how poorly the chair is designed. The wood is stapled together, not screwed. The sides of the chair is cardboard with nothing supporting it. It’s not even real wood, but cheap particle board. Upset I spent over $500 for a chair that came sitting at an angle, no real support, and terribly made. It’s one thing if broke because of kids jumping in it or someone sitting on the arm rest. But no one sat in it besides me when nursing… Disappointed and a waste of money.

TLDR: 5 stars for THE RECLINER ITSELF. -5 stars for processing and customer service. I originally ordered this recliner on February 1st... I received it on June 6th. The chair itself is super comfortable and just as I remembered when I tested it out in the store. Between February and now, Buy Buy Baby charged my account and returned the money at least 10 times with no notice. At one point they even shipped it but claimed there was an issue with payment so they had it returned to the warehouse when it was literally 10 miles from my house. I got the email notifying me of this on a Friday. I responded immediately and called multiple times. Never got an email back. When I was finally able to get in touch with a real person (impossible to get an email response even though they said that was the best way to reach the department handling my order), I was told this would keep happening because they would only charge when they could process the order. I still don’t know why this happened so many times when it never pushed my order through any further or faster. Labor and delivery was less painful of a process than getting information about and receiving my order. Ok, maybe not but my goodness, what a headache. This was such an unpleasant experience that I would hesitate very much to order anything from BBB again unless you can wait a year for it.

Very comfy. seemed easy to put together, but the left arm came broken. It seems like the bottom of the left arm is crushed inside, making it difficult to adjust yourself while sitting. Also had some clicks and noises while gliding/rotating.

I was a little skeptical after reading all the reviews, but so far it is a great purchase. Delivery was right on actually early on in the two week window quoted. Love the color and how comfortable it is.
