For years I went to the dermatologist. My scalp itched but they could find nothing. Went to the allergist and they said I was allergic to the preservative in a lot of detergents, soaps, makeup, etc. So I started trying different detergents, all "clean" without fragrances, etc. Nothing worked. This does. This is the only one I found that does. I even gave it to my daughter for when I sleep over.
Beware, Methylisothiazolinone is one of the ingredients and it is considered to be toxic according the EWG (Environmental Working Group). Here is a different review: Fragrance-Free Babyganics is meant to be used on our infants’ clothing and blankets but contains toxic chemicals that can seriously damage their developing organs. Sodium Borate and Methylisothiazolinone are extremely toxic and known to have damaging effects, including allergies, respiratory problems, and skin irritation. These chemicals can also disrupt our ecosystems and poison aquatic life.

I have been using Babyganics detergent since forever, even now that my kids are grown. My older one has sensitive skin and I have never had a problem with this detergent. I use both Lavender and Fragrance Free.

Cap is small. Gets messy. But other than that I liked it.
I like this product line but it does not smell like lavender and that’s mainly why I purchased it because I was originally using the unscented one so I am not too satisfied
It is gentle. But can not wash food stains clean.
I’ve been using this since my son was born , very happy with it.
